Title: valentines day!!!

What are you getting your husband/boyfriend .... or wife/girlfriend for valentines day?  I am completely clueless this year.  We are both on a diet so no sweets for my man.... I have been sick and still not well so I haven't even got a card yet.  Any ideas????

An Ebay certificate is a great last-minute gift. Also, if you feel well enough, you can cook him a special meal.

we are not likely to exchange gifts but will enjoy dinner together.
we met on valentine's day -- but we are not materialistic so don't normally go with gifts for every holiday, etc.
We do gifts for birthday/christmas only.

My husband and I are really saving our money this year so I asked him not to buy me anything, but instead we'd give to each other's in more intimate ways.....massages are always good.....special TLC in the bedroom!   :heart: :heart: :heart:  Happy Valentines Day everybody!

I think just being able to spend time with each other on Valentines day is the perfect gift.  :heart:

Valentines day is always fun. I will never ever get tired of it!!! It was my moms favorite holiday so i think of her.. kinda wierd but yea.. haha

This is a holiday that we make sure that we don't spend alot of money but it more about spending more time with each other and have dinner with just the two of us.

single-so no real plans.....what do people actually think of VD as a holiday?? I think it's kind of useless-I mean, shouldn't every day be VD?

I am getting my Miniture Schnauzer another play toy.  She keeps shaking them apart because she loves them so much.

We will have treats.  she will get the doggie treats and I will get the eclairs (marshmellow cookies covered in milk chocolate - Safeway Brand)

We will spend the day when we are together watching marathons on TV.

I won't need candles or roses or boxes of chocolate.  We could take a stroll on the beach but it is so far away.

Hmmm.... I suppose it is about time I find my better half, thought I did a few times, but I guess my half made my better half turn sour!!!!!

we celebrated a little early this year!
he surprised me with a pan of pink and red
cupcakes that he made all by himself, a card, and
some chocolate. his effort alone made me very happy  :heart:

there's a little mom &pop diner down the street
from us and we went there tonight, then lounged
on the couch and watched "up" - CUTE, cute movie!
