Title: Same old question I am sure. but I have to ask
Post by: NCcasanova on February 12, 2011, 10:03:52 am
I know many have probably asked this same question. But I myself have to ask it now.
What is the fastest easiest way to get the 30 forums needed to get credit? I am totally new to this and PTC sites. I have read what the site ask of you. But I kind of need it in laymen terms. I don't want to waste my time thinking I am doing it right, just to find out I am not. so any advice will be well taken.
Thanks

basically the posts just have to contribute to being part of the forum.

A contributory post is one that offers some insight, makes people laugh, carries a conversation, provides information or help, or something along those lines.  It's not spam, or an attempt to make money for oneself, and it's not short or missing content.

no one word posts or spam, they even say you can make a humorous post and it will still count. i get my 30 posts bonus by helping people out, like this. look at other posts and see what other people are posting. if you can make at least 5 posts a day you should be fine. sometimes i can get the 30 posts in just a couple of days.

Well, for instance, you have just posted a post.  This is probably considered a good post in that you asked a question.  The idea is not to get the 30 posts fast.  it is to post 30 quality posts.  This can include responding to other members postings.  It is very easy to get 30 posts in a calendar month.  You can post one every day or three every other day.  it does not matter how many you post per day.  You want to get 30 in a calendar month.  And it is important that they have content.  You can ask a question or make a comment.  You can respond to a posting.  You should have no trouble getting 30 in any calendar month.  Just go for content and quality, not speed.   Welcome to FC.

Thank yall very much for the info and help so far. It answered a few of my questions. I didn't want to do all the work to get cash stacked up. Just to not be credited for post there for not getting my cash. That wouldn't be nice at all. Any other helpful hints would be nice.

Just remember that when you get to 30 posts in a single month that you complete the Forum Bonus Request form. You need to complete this form in order to get paid.

Where do I find that?

At the very top of the page you will see  'Are you getting paid paid to post?'  The paid to post is a link to another page where there is a link to the form.  This is also where you can find your post count for the month.

Once you get in the routine of making posts, it will become very easy -- in fact, additive -- to be able to add to the conversation and help folks out.

I usually start with the Support section and look for the posts that only have a few entries.  Then I check out the other categories and look for topics that I'm interested in or feel I can add something of value to the discussion.

Posts made in the Promotion and Contest section do not count -- since you are already getting bonuses for entering the contest.  But do look at the Promotions (Sat and Tues mini's are worth a couple of cents if you get to them in a timely manner).

After you click on the "are you getting paid to post" link at the top of this page, there is a green link on the landing page that will take you to the submission page for the forum posting bonus.  On that same page is a link to a listing of all of your posts.  Since you need to select 3 posts that you consider representative of your postings, it's useful to have this list (the id number for each post is show along with the actual post).  It also gives you a count of all your posts.  Just because a post is listed, however, doesn't mean that it meets the requirement of being contributory.  FC reviews the listing to make sure that you have at least 30 relevant posts -- so it's worth while to have more than 30 -- and to make sure that what you post has substance as you do each one.

So let me get this right. I can have 30 post but some not count. But I am post to list 3 of the one I think are the best for the site? Even though they will look at all my post anyways? If I turn in my list and they don't think I have 30 good post. Will I be able to make some more before the end of the month?
I made this post and I am sure this one is a good one. I got a few good replies. But I had to have these questions I just asked answered too. Will this one post I am writing now count also?

I can't answer whether the post you just place will qualify, but I certainly don't see why not.  It's interactive.  You are asking questions and contributing to a conversation.  I think that would qualify.  I've been doing this since mid-November and I've gotten my bonus twice now and am waiting for January's.  I usually try to post 40+ posts in a month if I can.  That way, if one or two do not seem contributory, I'm still above the quota.

I usually come in every few days or so, and post 1-3 posts.  I try to go back into conversations that I've participated in and continue in the conversation.  I hope that helps.  It's pretty simple and can be fun.  Welcome, by the way.

My advice would be just to respond to posts that interest you or you can start your own topic. Just make sure you are saying something worthwhile and not an obvious 2 or 3 word attempt to make a post. You can track how many posts you have for the month by looking above where it says Are you getting paid to post yet? and click on the the forum request bonus and it will tell you on the right how many you have for the month. Just because you click on that link doesn't mean you are necessarily trying to get your bonus yet, you can get some info there too. Like I said, how many posts you have for the current month and also which months you've been paid for and how many days until the next time you will get a bonus too!

In my opinion this post will count too, it made sense and contributed to the discussion. Problem is I'm not the admin, so that's why it is smart to add a few extra (I usually run about 80). Once you get the idea on how to contribute it's not that hard, just relax and have fun.

Just remember that once you put in your request for the bonus, it takes up to 65 days to credit you the $3

I have found out that you get paid 30 or more day after you request a pay out for your post.  I have been paid 2 times and waiting on my third.  This is so easy to post 30 post in a month.  I get my email every morning and and do my daily 2 cents and then I see what offers I can do before I go to work.   I like Fusion cash.  It is great.

Another good tactic is to look at Show New Replies to Your Posts to continue any conversations you have going, which is always easier than starting something fresh to me. Then once I get the list up, I right click and open in a new tab for each topic to keep from losing my place.

I find the best way is to post once or twice a day making sure that you are making a post that means something to you and not just a one liner.  I like to pick things that are relevant to me and that I can use or other people can use on the site.  This is not a quick post 30 and request payout.  They do check to make sure your posts are legit if you rush and don't do much you will get denied.  This is a great way to make money but you do have to make sure your doing correct.  Good Luck
