In the movies if you have to go to the bathroom you just miss a part and cannot remind it, you cant control the temp. which is usually way too cold, and you can't control who you are watching the movie with and hearing others annoyingly smack their foods or commenting on what's going on. At home all the way.

Post by: apples45 on February 25, 2011, 10:06:16 am: I enjoy both going to the theater, and also watching movies at home. the pros of going to the theater is you get to watch the film as its released and experience a film for the first time with others and get out of the house, the cons of the theater is that sometimes the screens are blurry the snacks are over priced, and you cant take a bathroom brake without missing parts of the film.

The pros of watching movies at home is that you can sit in your pajamas, and take bathroom, and snack brakes without missing the film if the film is on DVD or you have a DVR. the cons um..there are no cons accept possible feeling lonely if you dont have anyone to share the viewing experiences with. :)

Post by: jneff0603 on February 25, 2011, 01:21:18 pm: Sometimes I like the movie theater experience but when you're sitting there with a row of giggly, excitable teens jabbering through the movie, it ruins the whole thing. Much better to wait for the movie to come on on DVD and watch from the comfort of my couch with a bowl of fresh popcorn and the ability to take a pee break and not miss anything :thumbsup:

Post by: Kiki1992 on February 25, 2011, 01:28:50 pm: If i'm alone, I prefer home. But if it's two or three of us, I prefer theaters, but then I'm not really into the movie that much when I'm at theaters, it's mostly talking and joking and having fun.
