Ok a few hours ago I did the Hoodia Offer for the 15 day trial with $5.97 for shipping and a free bottle.
And about 15 minutes ago I got a email saying I have been charged $149 for as bottle of Hoodia.
I went to my Bank online and they already have this $149 in pending for my Debit card (checking acct). UNREAL !! I tried calling them and they are gone for the day.........
Needless to say Iam beside myself . Please any help from Admin. or any suggestions on what to do.
This could be a error I dont know. They even put me down for the express shipping for $12 :(

First, calm down. If you had read any of the posts regarding CC/Trial offers you would have read that most of the advertisers will do a pre-authorization for the total amount of the offer. It should only remain there a few days (depending on how long your bank allows a pre-authorization to remain on an account). The s/h charges of $12 will remain and be deducted from your account, but the rest will be reversed.
This is the biggest reason the "seasoned" members advise all new members doing CC/Trial offers to PLEASE read the TOS of EVERY offer you wish to do and to have a legitimate interest in an offer when doing it.

Thanks I appreciate it. We will see. I got a little distraught momentarily and shouldnt have used the word Fraud earlier. So I took it out of original post.
So I guess everyone else who did this got the same email as I did below, right ?? This is a first for me in doing Offers for over 3 months now. But I guess with some offers its the standard
However, I know I did just the standard shipping and that was it. It was $5.97.
I will call them tomorrow and see whats up.

Yeah the more I keep looking at this the more I am figuring something is wrong here !!
Any comments would be appreciated. I ordered the Trial of one bottle of XPF Hoodia for $5.99 shipping and the electronic receipt says 6 quantities at $136.98.
To the comment made by the Poster above, looking at it now I disagree with your assertions. Sure, there are definitely Pre Authorizations on the Pending section of ones debit or credit card statements that are sometimes different than the agreed upon amount for the CC Trial. But in this case the actual electronic receipt is the same as the exhorbitant Pending amount.
The electronic receipt in my email should have the exact accurate amount while the Pending in my bank account may or may not. Kind of like when you go to a bar and pay for drinks with CC. The Receipt you get has the correct amount on it with your written in tip and total. But the Pending on your Bank Account is preauthorized and sometimes a bit higher. But it takes care of itself in a few days.
Well anyway, Iam going to bed . I dont really even feel like sleeping though right now. Wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt my Checking acct.
I will call first thing in morning to see whats up and I will let you all know what happens.
Sorry I dont mean to be long winded with this but this is quite frustrating.
Any commentary would be appreciated ;)

wow, that sucks! I totally understand you freaking out! Hopefully it IS just an authorization or error and tomorrow you will get it all straightened out when you call them!

When I replied to your post, you did not have the info from your CC posted, so I was going by how things have worked in the past.
It does appear that you were charged for 6 bottles instead of 1 and in this case, I would be on the phone with Hoodia first thing in the morning. Something could have gone amiss when you did the offer. I am sure Hoodia will stand by their original trial offer.
Keep us posted on what has transpired with this and Good Luck in getting it resolved.

sometimes with these trial offers, you need to scrolldown the page and make sure additional products are not checked by them, the company, if they are they wil charge you for that also :crybaby2:

Thanks guys for the responses and support. I called this morning and Nutracore did erroneously charge me. The Customer Service Rep was really cool and said she would be more than happy to take care of it. I hope they do. She sounded like they would. So I shouldn't believe in anything otherwise. She also said I could have accidentally checked a space I shouldn't have or refreshed a page which could have explained the error in billing.
I know I tried my prepaid credit card at first and that did not go thru so thats when I took out and used my Debit Card and it got approved. So that possibly could have caused this mishap.
Anyway, I think this company is pretty respectable and I dont want anyone here to think otherwise. I think it was a honest mistake and sometimes errors happen in even the most most respected and reputable companies :)

Keep in mind though, when doing CC offers, many Advertisers no longer accept Prepaid Cards as a form of payment, and as of the last time this subject came up, they were not permitted for use on Fusion. :wave:

OK guess what happened in this case. I called them on the 30th and they said they had cleared this up. I even called back later in the day to double check and they said everything had been taken care of. Well, I go out of town for 2 days and check my Onilne Banking and guess what has happened. $149 taken from my Checking Account >:( And to put fire in the gas I was charged $35 on top of this for insufficient funds in my checking account.
Very frustrating and it makes me hesitate from dong any more offers like this

Yes good point thanks for bring that up i went to one trial offer today and at the very bottom of the list it said you will also be signing up for this offer which you will be charged there are different telephone numbers to call if you decide to cancel
POINT BEING MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL DETAILS AND ANY FINE PRINT LOOK AROUND AWHILE BEFORE YOU AGREE TO THE OFFER

Did Hoodia XPF ever credit your money back? I cancelled and got an email confirming such as was only charged my trial offer charge. I did try the pills and did not like them, I did have an interest when I signed up. I called and spoke to a woman there about the Fusion Cash credit and she had never heard if this. Said it was Fusion Cash's responsibilty. I also joined E-Music on 3/23 and never got credit from them. I joined the Player's Club 4/17 and never got FC credit. I called them and they said it was a FC promo and FC should credit me. I emailed FC with my confirmations and they never replied although I did later read a thread that they stopped instant approval. So these 3 offers would have been good ones. Has anyone had trouble with the other two? Is there anything I can do?? I joined all 3 of theses CC offers cause I was interested but sure would like the money in my FC acct!!

Not only shouldnt anyone contact the advertisers, most times the people that answer the phones wont know what a 'FC' is anyway...but reading over the past comments, I would warn anybody that wants to do trial offers that involve 'supplements' or similar products to understand that this 'error' of charging people ridiculous amounts is pretty common...so common i find it hard to believe they are 'errors, i would have called my bank immediately an told then that an unauthorized charge had occured on my account, -Nitrotrim,12 N one, and Ultima Smile, all overcharged my cc, too many 'mistakes' if you ask me-..not only that i use wordpad an cut an paste the TOS to any trials i do, and make the print larger when it speaks about charges and when the trials end..
I still encourage members to go to Ripoffreport.com/Infomercial scam.com and look up the product beforehand, while some members like to claim the negative comments on those site are by members that are trying to just make it hard for the companies...once you read the the stories and find so many having the same issues with unauthorized charges, you can then judge for yourself.
Never just let the company 'handle' the so-called 'error'...CALL YOUR BANK!..after you read the comments on the sites mentioned above, you may even need to close your cc, and have a new one reissued..(had to do that twice!)

I Know what you mean Lendal And Good Point . Unathorized charge come on my Credit card.I'm going be On the Phone! I Have Free Mobil Alerts. with my credit card company Capital One And My Orchard Bank Cards.So they send me alerts every purchase.and if i dont purchase everyday.Ya be carefulnow.because some Advertisers are slick

She didnt call about getting credited for this site. She called because she was charged for 6 bottles and not the trial.
