I am pretty creative and have ran lots of experiments to find out if there was some kind of higher power/supreme being and bigger picture. All my experiments led to coincidences and interesting results.
I am convinced there is something/someone in charge, whether it be ET or a God.
Have you ever conducted any type of experiment to see if this power/being could hear you and give out information to its being real?
It's like a game of clue for me.

I believe the higher power is god.
-
Yep even Atheists acknowledge this, they say there is no God but will give God didn't names and titles :P Until they can make a self sufficient sphere of fire(sun) or water(moon), i'm convinced there's a most high spirit or whatever it is that I call God. Lol I don't even know what a spirit is or looks like.
Here's some terms Atheists use.
1. Fairy
2. Nature
3. Imaginary friend

You can rest assured that a higher being exist, and his name is Almighty God, the creator of the earth and the universe.
-
Its hard to look at the universe and not think that something with a greater power created it, I'll admit that.

I disagree with the name I believe it's Jehovah but I agree with you on everything else. I wonder why they had that name in older KJ bibles?

Wow I hit a soft spot, with all due respect this comment was directed to atheists not pagans. Atheists use your terms differently and use it to mock or hide God so that's why I said it.

You can rest assured that a higher being exists, and his name is Jesus Christ the creator of the earth and the universe.

I thought Jesus Christ was a demi-god, not an all powerful being.

I find it interesting that in just the few posts made in this thread, there are christians/believers who cannot even agree on who created everything and what 'their' name even is. And you all tell us 'non-believers' that we're the ones who are confused?!

Jesus Christ is temporarily an all powerful being, until he gives it back to the Father that is and his father is still over him(1 Corinthians verse is below)!!!!!! It's true that the father used him to make everything else but nowhere in the bible does Jesus credit himself with the creation, in fact he gives the father credit for creating Adam and Eve!!!!(Matthew 19:4-6)
1 Corinthians 15:20-28 Reads 20 However, now Christ has been raised up from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death]. 21 For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man. 22 For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each one in his own rank: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ during his presence. 24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. 27 For [God] “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

There most certainly is. Jesus Christ.

Jesus is indeed a "higher power" but forget the source which is his father(John 6:57)
-
The higher power is the god that you believe in.

Being a Christian, I must say, "Yes, there is a higher power." In that respect, I also believe in the power of prayer. While I have never performed any experiments to prove the existence of God, I can honestly say, that not only do I see and hear Him daily, I can close my eyes and feel his presence. Having said that, and this causes many arguments within my home and with some of my Christian friends, I believe that God, the Supreme Creator, comes in many different forms through different cultures, languages and practices.

I believe there is an Omnipotent power, i.e. God, Spirit or whatever you wish to call it, and that we are all part of it. I think we are all interconnected and that love is the most important thing. If everyone was tolerant of each other and lived by the Golden Rule, oh what a world it would be!

Is God a title or a name? Would you say President is Obama's name? If not why apply the same to "the man upstairs"?
