Title: I finally have a job.
Post by: cubarican210 on March 16, 2011, 02:48:25 pm: I'm so excited. I just started working on Monday at Septa, which is the acronym for Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. I'm so happy, happy, happy!!!!!!!!!! I just am so overwhelmed with excitement. I thank God for this opportunity. I'll be working in the Customer service department answering phone calls as to which routes customers have to take to get to their destinations. Give them the times that buses and/or trains will be arriving. It's a lot of work but I'm willing to learn all that there is to know. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been on disability for over 7 years. My health is better now, but the jobs are not hiring. Enough about me. Again Congrats to you! ;D :thumbsup: :wave:

I've been applying like crazy, but no one's called just yet. I get to do financial aid for the new college I'm attending in the next couple weeks; hopefully they'll have some work-study available.

I hope that everyone has a great evening and also a great weekend. For the ones that are looking for work just have faith in yourself and something will come up. Don't let any negative thoughts come into your mind. Just let the positive take over. Eliminate the words "I can't" because you can and you will do anything you set your mind to. The mind is powerful. Good luck to the rest of you on finding jobs. I'm pretty sure you will find something eventually. Don't get discouraged and continue on your search. Oh and Happy St. Patrick's Day.
