Title: Grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.

I would like to know how many grandparents are raising their grandchildren here in FC. And how do you do it? My husband  and I are raising our 2 youngest grandchildren girl 4 and boy 3.  These 2 kids are a handfull an some days I can't keep up with them. And by the end of the day I am so tired I just drop in bed. I just wounder what you do and how you do it.

Were I work in the groub of 8 of us, 2 are raising grandkids, and working full time to go with it, their poped by the time they get to work, one lady if she every get still will fall asleep on us, we all help keep her a wake.  The one thing they did was put them in the y after school to give them some rest time.  An change of a mother day out program thats free, for a if hours?

I'm not exactly raising my grandchild but my Son and Grand daughter live with me.
It is great. Sometimes tiring even though I haven't taken all of his responsibilities from him. We help each other and it is kind of a win win situation for all of us.

Not sure what you mean by how do you do it. Like anything else in life we just have to take things one day at a time. Enjoy what we can and deal with what we have to.

I was never blessed with having kids, but I just
wanted to say "Thank God for all the grandparents...
and Bless your hearts!. There's too many kids
raising themselves these days.
