Title: Who will be turning off their light on Earth Hour 2011 on March 26 at 8:30 P.M?
Post by: Kiki1992 on March 26, 2011, 01:40:09 am: I know some people think the idea is silly, but the gesture of turning off your lights will not save or restore the natural environment of the earth; but the gesture is a symbol to says, "In my everyday life, I will live to protect and contribute in the wellness of this earth!"

Together, we can stop the degradation of Earth's natural environment. Let us build a future where people live in harmony with nature! :heart:

I have to agree tho, it wont make the world all better :( but it's a good way to say I'm trying. As for me I try and only use one light at a time. Everytime I leave a room all uneccessary power is shut off! :)

Post by: ejholt on March 27, 2011, 02:42:20 am: I did not know they were going to turn out all lights last night. If I had known I would have turned my off. Was it on the news? If it was I missed it. Are they going to do this again?
