ITS MY FIRST TIME AND IM NERVOUS.

I started baby sitting after I quit my job to stay at home with my two young ones. It can be overwhelming at times but if you establish a routine it helps. Good luck!

do you know the family personally or are they
just acquaintances? if it's your first time being
around the kids, just play with them and observe
their behavior at the same time, so you'll know
how to deal with meltdowns or freakouts...
just have fun with them and be careful what you
say around them - they WILL repeat it! lol.

How old are the kids? If they are older, don't be afraid to use a firm voice if you need to, they need to know you're in charge. If they are younger, toddler/infants and they get fussy just breath, put them in their crib or playpen if you need to, take 5 minutes for yourself then start over, it will help the both of you if you're calm. And overall just have fun, play, read, sing, dance etc. :wave:

Make sure before their parents leave that you have a list of contact information just in case. Have that information on hand, or somewhere that is easy to look at in case of an emergency. Ask their parents if they have any allergies to anything. Depending on the ages of the kids think of some activities that you can do. Remember if you keep them busy it will help the time go by so much faster. Also maybe before they are getting ready for bed put in a movie that their parents have okayed, and relax until it is bedtime. Hope that helps just a little.

U shoul not be nervous and u must be carehul because u have to handle more little childern. My sister is also running ababy sitting.
