So...apparently he's retiring...about time, eh?? He sort of faded....plus, as a Yankee fan I was never too fond of him.

I agree, as a Yankee Fan, I will not "Miss Him"  8)

But, I must say that He Was A Great Player For The Teams He Was On For Most Of His Career  :peace:

He grew up in New York, so He Could Have Been a Yankee   :P

He had a great swing. I am not a Red Sox fan but he was good. Too bad so many athletes feel like they must take body enhancers. :(

He tested positive for steroids, again.  Better to just retire than face a ban.

I love the redsox, when Manny was on the redsox he was always a fantastic asset to the team and he was always a funny guy so i'm sad he's going to retire.
