I live in Minnesota and we have the largest mall ever - the Mall of America. I don't go often though, about once every year or two.
-
I live about 45 minutes from the Mall of America! Thats pretty big! LOL
-
Ours is very small. It is only 1 story, with less than 60 stores. Not much fun.......

We have one of the biggest malls in the US. It has 4 levels at some points and there are a few restaurants that overlook the ocean. I avoid this mall at all cost. Parking is a nightmare and I cannot afford to shop at Neiman Marcus, Chanel, Coach and so on. There is another mall that is closer to my house that has two sections. To get from one to the other, you take the monorail. I usually go about once a year. I actually like to shop online because I can avoid the malls and I dont have to stress over parking.

I live about 30 to 45 minutes away from the largest mall in America. That mall would be the King of Prussia Mall. It's located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. I'm from Philadelphia.

Our mall is little and crappy with horrible stores. So whenever we want to really shop, we have to go out of town about 1.5 hours to get to the good stuff. They spent so much money lately updating and remodeling our mall and I think it was a waste--just as crappy as ever!!

the malls around here are pretty big but like you said MN has the largest mall in america.

They're pretty big here. I live in Louisville. We have a few big malls here.

There are two Malls in my area, each has 4 department stores.

We have 2 major malls where we live. One is pretty huge, the other smaller. But both have lots of stores and a good variety of outlets as well.

I live in Orlando, Florida (for now!) and the nearest malls are West Oaks, Florida Mall, and Mall of Millenia.
West Oaks Mall is a decent size, but there's much bigger. The stores inside vary, which that's a good thing - more options. From candy shops and apparel to a fitness center, this is one of the more versatile malls in the Orlando area. On the downside, it's not as 'fancy', and some may call it 'lower scale'. The prices are not so bad, in general.
Florida Mall is wider. It's a little bigger than West Oaks and a lot more decorative. Shop smart to get good deals, but just as expensive as any other.
Mall of Millenia is a two floor, big mall (for Florida malls)! Extremely expensive (or at least, for me) in comparison to the others listed. It's more decorative and less versatile - most stores are for apparel.
I know I kind of went on and on a bit. I'm not much of a mall shopper. I usually shop online for better prices!

There are small compared to other malls.
-
There are several within 45 minutes that are 100+ stores and a few stories high. I think I would like to see mall of America someday.

We have a few good sized malls about an hour away from my home. Nothing too big but they do have a nice store selection.
-
I live in a very suburban area and have 2 malls within 15 min driving of me - they are average sized I would say.
-
We have been in the two smaller malls in the Orlando area. It was fun shopping, but rainy days. Daughter got a huge bargain on a Coach product.

I live in a town where there are no big mall except for Walmart and a few store around here. We have the dollar stores here and that is all. The town near us have big malls and when I have to do any serious shopping that is where I go. Wish we had them here, shame have to go out of town to shop when gas is so high.
-
well I live in San Diego and I got a chance to visit one of the malls near me. It was one at Otay Ranch and that mall was huge....Not only was it 3 stories, but it had all kinds of stores inside and outside. Really crowded too and I wouldn't be surprised if someone got lost there.

We have a two story mall in my area. They just completed adding a small strip mall that reminds you of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Fun!

I live in Louisville, Ky. The malls aren't too big; you could tour the whole mall in less than 15 minutes
