Title: What to do about this
Post by: Justmenotis on April 11, 2011, 06:07:19 am
I am getting an attack warning when I read the daily email today, and when I did the daily offer for 15cents.  I printed the screen and saved it in my pictures as a jpeg... now how would I show that screen shot here?  Also, what should I do about this?  I did get credit for viewing, but I didn't actually go to the page and stay on it for 60 seconds.....because I got that red flag warning.   I don't want to be accused of cheating...  :dontknow:  Any suggestions?

I am sorry about that.  I wish I could help.  I have no idea.

Saw your message under "Support" and replied there too.

Since you have the picture of the screen, suggest you send it to Support (via ticket) directly.

I did not have this problem today, but you might just have a very cautious security system.
I use McAfee, which I think is more cautious, and might give you false positive caution notices.  But I'd do as you did:  close down the site and report it to the site where the bad ad originated from.

This is a problem with your security settings, not the site itself. I was getting that message for a lot of sites that I know are safe, when I was using one of the library's computers that obviously had messed up security settings. I don't get it on my home computer.
