I just upgraded to the new Firefox 4 I don't like it so far I guess it will take some getting used to. I don't like the layout and the tabs. I can't find the stupid refresh button!
I just found it.

I agree that the new layout will take some definite getting used to. It took me forever to find where the refresh button is, where the stop button is (BTW, if I'm right, those buttons take up the same spot, so now if a page is taking forever to load, you can't just hit refresh to have it try again... you have to stop the load, and then reload it manually... grrr :angry7: ) Home button is off to the right and is sort-of small... The only nice thing is that I have noticed a slight speed improvement when loading some sites. Also, one major annoyance is now fixed: if the browser gets shut down unexpectedly and you restart FF and say you want to restore the previous sessions, before the address line would be greyed out so that you could not type in a new URL... Now when FF restores sessions, it doesn't disable the address line. So I guess for me, the minor annoyances of having to relearn where all your buttons are are out-weighed by the speed improvement and fix some of what I think are bigger problems.

I don't see a huge difference other than the way it looks but I haven't checked out all the features. I upgraded because the last few days my system would freeze and it's always when I have up firefox (didn't do it with IE but I hate using IE). Well the upgrade didn't work because yesterday because it still froze.

I also upgraded Firefox because the old version kept freezing up. At first I thought it was my internet connection, but since IE worked fine I figured it must be Firefox. They tend to do that when they want you to upgrade to the next version. Anyway, in my case upgrading did solve the problem.
I have the tabs in the new Firefox set to be in the same place as the old one. It took me a while too, to find the refresh button. I don't know if I like it as much as the old version, but at least I've gotten used to it.
