Title: Mother's day gifts

What gifts do you like to give or receive for Mothers day?

I think the standard gift I have given in the past was flowers,
but this year I just sent a card. I am not a mother (wish I was,
but cant have children  :crybaby2:) so I don't receive mothers day gifts.

I gave her a kitchen appliance once, but this time, I'm so far away from home, I won't even be able to see her.

I have given, cards, flowers, chocolates. As a Mom, I have been taken out to a nice dinner (lobster lol yummy...), recieved cards, flowers, chocolates. A nice card from the heart, is nice because it is sincere. I can keep those cards & look back at them later. That is very nice. God Bless Al Mom's...

We gave my mother family photos, we had our photo shoot April 23, I ordered a photo gift and prints but not in time for today. She was ok with that thou, we hadn't taken a family photo in 8 years!!

As for the receiving end, I asked for jewelry with my sons name or initials or something, nothing expensive it could've been from Claires for all I care but he admitted yesterday he didn't get my squat, not even a card. Happy 1st Mothers Day to me :(

I gave my mom flowers. Ordered them online and told her she'd be getting " something " the next day. She called me the next day crying telling me how pretty the flowers were.  I have 2 brothers and I was the only one who got her anything. She got me a card, a t-shirt and some blank discs so my boyfriend could make me some movies. My boyfriend got me a card and a rose and Is planning on getting me more when he gets paid. here's a picture of the flowers I sent my mom.

I got rose bushes for Mothers day, the will be so pretty once I get them planted.

we usually do hanging baskets for my mama.
she loves to get flowers to hang on the porch and gardening supplies :)

THE KIND OF GIFTS I LIKE TO RECIEVE FOR MOTHERS DAY ARE FLOWERS. MY DAUGHTER GIVES ME FLOWERS WITH A CARD THAT SHE MAKES AND THATS WHAT SPECIAL CUZ IT COMES FROM HER HEART.
