Are you or somebody that you know is afraid of spiders?

Yes, they're creepy. I'm afraid of them crawling on me or biting me and being poisonous. Which is probably an over rated fear lol?? :confused1: :)

No I am not afraid of spider but like snakes I have a healthy respect for them and would not want them sleeping in the same place that I am. Fireants are not welcome either.

I had a brown recluse spider bite about 20 years ago. I've never been so sick in my life. I missed work for 5 weeks and it left a huge scar as a nice reminder. Yup....I'd say I am. :notworthy: :notworthy:

spiders are harmless, well at least i think they are. I mean they small and easy to kill

[yes, my son is, he was bitten by one. But me i kill them all the time, I don't like them.

I'm only afraid of the poisonous ones. Some of the non-poisonous ones are kind of cute.

Yes, I am because some of them can kill you!

Yes, not afraid but I would prefer to not have them near me. Out here in the desert there are all kinds of creepy crawlies that give me the *bleep*.

I am ONLY afraid of the ones that I can't see, BECAUSE I KILL EVERY ONE THAT I SEE!!!

naw spiders are so little to kill and some don't do any thing to you so i think spiders are friendly.

I am afraid of only the big ones and do not like them at all; they are kind of creepy.

I'm not afraid of the little ones, I'll kill them quickly but if it's too big I'll leave it alone or get someone else to kill it.

:-X yes im so afraid of spiders! and when i see them i dont even try to kill them ill call my hubbie to cumand kill them for me!

YEs I am. The bigger and furrier they are, the scarier I find them. The hair and the legs just make me freak! :sad1:

Im not afraid of them at all I actually thank them for being here. The keep pest away.

No, I'm bigger than they are and still a little bit faster. Just don't like the one that jump!

Depends on size. If its huge yes I hate them but the little ones I will just kill. I think i found at least 1 spider every day that i cleaned kmart. gross so glad that i dont work there anymore.

I'm very afraid of spiders, I have the wolf spiders that jumps toward you every time yo go near them. I keep a can of bug spray around.

Yes, I am very fearful of spiders and bees.

OMG!!! I hate spiders so much. there was one time where there was this tiny spider on me and i mean smaller than my pinky nail and I screamed at the top of my lungs. :sad1: GOD I HATE SPIDERS!!

Small ones no. But the big hairy ones, then yes I am.

Nah I catch em and put them outside I cant stand the thought of squishing one in my house..

Most definitely. I am completely terrified of them. My daughter used to over at a friends house who had a tarantula and a python. No way would I sleep in that house. Not enough money.

YES !!!!!! I am deathly scared of spiders i will run and avoid that room tell someone has disposed of the spiders AHHHHHH They creep me out !!!!

I'm have a completely irrational fear of spiders, but I also feel bad when I kill them... talk about conflicting emotions

I am deathly scared of spiders. Anything over 1/2 inch is a big one to me. I won't even go close enough to one to kill it, I have to get someone else to kill them. I could never live in a state where they have tarantulas; i would die of fright!

Nope, I am usually the one called to come squish them if they are crawling around.

I wouldn't say that I'm afraid of them, but I don't like it when they scare me. In general, I have a dislike for them. Especially when they're indoors. I don't like 'em in the car either. As long as they stay out of my house/car and away from me, I'm fine. I enjoy watching them craft their webs though, but outdoors of course.

YES! I don't like spiders at all! And I especially don't like the big fast moving ones!!!!

Kind of a funny post because I just ran across, roughly, twenty different spiders as I was redoing my backyard waterfall. I wasn't scared or grossed out when I fished two dead birds out, or flipped a very large living snake out of the basin but when I began moving the rocks it was a different story! I actually had this little green spider on my arm which caused me to creep because we have recluse spiders out here (highly poisonous)! I was grossed out by a few translucent spiders with red legs. I still itch parts of my body without having anything there!

I'm only affraid if they're huge and can jump; then they freak me out. Small ones can easily be smashed but the big hairy ones that jump I stay far away from :S

I'm afraid of many bugs (especially cockroaches) but not spiders. And luckily there is no cockroach here in Colorado but there is lots of spiders.

Deathly afraid... I'm not afraid of them biting me or anything I just think about them and it makes me wanna throw up. :-X

I am not afraid of spiders, and I do not want them around me. If you leave them alone they will leave you alone.
We do need to live with the spiders, because without them we would have a little more insects to deal with.

YES!! OMG!! i hate ALL bugs!! Lady bugs worms ants anything like that ewwww just the thought of them crawling on me makes me itch!! :dontknow:

I do not like spiders at all. They give me the creeps. I do not like insects of any kind. I lived in a place that was full of spiders and it was a nightmare.

Nah. I once caught a spider I had never seen before in my house. It had blue/green fluorescent eyes. Found out after an internet search it is the number 1 biting spider in the US. Very aggressive jumping spider. I released it outside. In retrospect I'm surprised I was able to catch it so easily since it can jump several feet. Spiders eat other bugs we don't need. I rarely kill them.

Ugh. Not trying to be mean, but spiders are gross and weird.
And they are also really hairy
But I also heard from my friend that if you kill a spider it will rain.
Which was weird cause she killed one like the day before it rained. haha.
But yes, I am defiantly scared of them.

I don't mind spiders so much, just so long as they're NOT either black widows or brown recluses. I can't afford to get bitten by one of those suckers 'cause I don't have any medical insurance. However, I would someday like to have a couple of tarantulas as pets - they're so cute!

Yes, spiders freak me out. plus I am allergic to them. One of my friends wanted me to watch a movie once they forgot to tell me it was the movie called "Arachnophobia" which means fear of spiders and there would be tons of spiders in the movie. I almost jumped out of my skin everytime i saw a spider.

Only poisonous ones. I control my fear by taking sensible precautions & killing any velvet-black spider I see with a red hourglass on its tummy!!!!

no not at all except for the brown recluse they are very dangerous if you get bit i was bit by one years ago it took 3 months for the posion to get out of my system

I'm freakin terrified of spiders. I'm 30 years old and will still call my Dad on the phone to come kill one!

I hate all kinds of bugs, They creep me out. Only thing i hate more is tornados.

I'm not really afraid of them, but the small ones creep me out more than the tarantulas. I have a respect for all life and try to ignore them or take them outside, but if a tiny one lands/crawls on me then my reaction is to smack them or brush them off. I hope I never meet a brown recluse, but I'm not worried about black widows, that I can see, as they leave us alone if we leave them alone. I have had to relocate a widow once though. :peace:

this is how i feel. i also read somewhere that spiders are considered to be good luck and can mean that money is coming. so now when i see a spider i get happy. lol

I don't like them, but it's not enough to make me stand on a chair. I really hate roaches though. My boyfriend on the other hand is terrified of spiders. He'll call me from another room to kill one. It is ridiculous, but I would do the same thing with a roach.

very afraid of spiders! I got bit about 5 1/2 yrs ago, and my skin is STILL discolored where I got bit... Spiders are nasty!
