Title: how many times have you been married
Post by: aggie49 on May 17, 2011, 01:02:47 pm: i have been married 4 times not proud of it but true that's why i am glad that my guy now has the same outlook that i have stay permently engaged that way if either of us want to call it quits we just walk away

I think after you get married more than 2x, you are just getting married for the fun of it . :heart:

Post by: ghunter on May 18, 2011, 12:15:42 pm: I have been married only once for 35 years and still going strong. Married it give and take and what you put into it. I love being married to my husband, he is one of a kind a great father and husband. He takes care of all my needs, I am truly blessed.

Post by: tarrahc418 on May 18, 2011, 01:15:50 pm: Never been married. Just moved in with my boyfriend of 3 years, and we're doing great. I have mixed emotions towards marriage. Parents got divorced when I was 10, dad's been remarried 3 times, mom just got divorced for the 2nd time. I don't really see the point at times when all it really is, is putting a ring on your finger and signing papers and sharing the same last name. BUT at the same time, I am very religious and agree on the vowing under gods oath. So for me, I have some decissions to make haha. I could just do the "common law" thing, so after 7 years of living together we are "married by common law."

The second time I was married for almost 10 years .... which was about 9 1/2 years too long!!! He was VERY cruel, verbally abusive and controlling. I somehow got the courage and strength to leave him when I found he was also cheating on me ... Thank goodness eheheheheh otherwise I would probably still be there suffering and trying to make it work. I did a lot of soul searching and praying after my divorce and I met a wonderful man who was a widower and he was truely sent from God. I have been married almost 2 years now and know in my heart it will last till death us do part.
