Title: Paying A Babysitter
Post by: ULuvCeCe on May 20, 2011, 09:21:57 pm: How much do you pay babysitters? Someone that only watches your children for 3 hours or so? :wave:

Post by: MadelynStewart on May 20, 2011, 09:35:46 pm: it really depends on the child's age, but normally 15-20 dollars for three hours would suffice. if you have an infant, maybe put in a "bonus"

Post by: tashamjoy on August 29, 2011, 10:09:51 pm: yeah for an 11 year old but now a days its not 5 dollars an hour its more like at least 8 but most of the time 10 when i babysit i get 10 i dont demand 10 but thats typically what i get but i am older then 11 but yes 11 year old thats enough but def not no 5 dollars for older teens

Yup I remember making 50 cents an hour when I was a kid, regardless of how many kids I watched.

I know right? We never ended up using my boyfriends niece, the way it ended up her mom needed us to watch over her as she is barely 11 and not trusted at home by herself so it was a win win for both of us :wave:
