I prefer trying on clothes in person, especially shoes because my feet are narrow and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit.  I could never buy shoes online.  I bought two bikini's online from Victoria's Secret years ago because they were $5, can't beat that so I had to order.  Other than that I've never ordered clothes online.

Yes I understand. Specially because I tend to like something online and after I go to the store and try it out I don't like it anymore. (mostly because of how it fits or the material).. As far as shoes I can get them online, so far no problems.

I prefer to shop online but would rather buy in person except for small electronics and software which I really like buying online.  Ebay is one of my favorrite spots and has been for years.   I like to shop where I can use Paypal or Alertpay rather than a credit card.

It depends on what I'm buying. I bought 2 dressers online just becuase it was cheaper and way less hassle then me actually going to the store and buying them. But when it comes to clothes and grocerys I prefer to actually goto the store to buy the items. Its the thrill of hunting down a bargain and how rewarding it is to take your "prize" home with you right then and there, instead of waiting a week or so for it to come in the mail.

Depends on where....if it's a crazy mall where people are shoving you all around then hands down: Internet. If it's a small boutique with people who actually are doing their JOB and selling you what YOU want (isn't that the job of a salesperson?)...then store. :)

Recently I've been shopping online. Most of the time online stores seem to have what I want as opposed to in store. But when it comes to jean shopping I always go in store.

I do both, like to shop about once a week. I have a plan when I go, so it don't take me long!

Online ~ JCP.com is my favorite.  You don't have to search through a bunch of clothes to find one that fits you or to find out none fit you.  You can automatically know if the color, style, size, etc. is available.  The clearance department has some awesome prices and free shipping is available.  We have a local store so I can take anything back I need to at the store.

I find everything I need online. I use Blair for most of my clothes. I figured out the sizing standard. When I used to go shopping, I came home with soar feet and a sore back.

I prefer the store.  Every clothing brand has its own sizing chart, and sometimes no size fits properly.

I like shopping online.  I'm just too lazy to go shopping because I usually just get frustrated with not finding anything.

I agree. stores are always marking clothes down and you can really catch some great deals.

I like shopping online. I have a little girl and can't do shopping without being rushed. Also, pretty much always I use coupon/cashback when I shop online so it's cheaper.

I hate to go shopping, so it's always the Internet for me.  I love eBay.  I'm tall and have narrow feet, so I will usually use an online store not on eBay that allows returns.

Sometimes I go to the store to see if they have what I want or try things on and sometimes there are better deals online so I shop the store then purchase online. I usually find that stores don't carry the sizes and styles that they may online so it may depend on whatever you're looking for, on way or the other may be better

I am still not all that trusting the internet, especially giving my CC over the Internet. I do sometimes but, not all that often. I make sure they are a reputable online store also. I would personally rather see the material I am buying than trusting a picture.

Really it depends on what I'm shopping for. Sometimes I will scan the website of the local stores before I go shopping. I don't have a lot of good places to shop around here, so there are a few places I'd rather buy from online than have to drive a long way. The shipping is usually cheaper than gas!

Yeah, I like online for the same reason.  I LOVE using pay pal to buy supplements and some other things.

For clothes, best to shop in person, especially if needing to try on stuff.  But tee shirts can be bought online.

I like shopping online, no crowds, no rush, no noise.  I also like shopping online for things we don't usually have around here.  I also don't have a car so it makes getting to the store a bit challenging.

I go to the store first: What you see is what you get! Less hassle in returns, too. If the store does not have my size or color but I know the style then I go online. I do that with JCPenney and other stores.

dont drive if you dont have to. gas prices are outrageous.
