I think that is the main cause of sickness bad luck , and etc....
-
Not to mention those socks that seem to just disappear in the dryer, chocolate chip cookies without enough 'chips' in them, milk that goes bad before the expiration date, electric car windows that stop working, missing out on the 'best' parking space, zippers on jeans breaking (at the most inopportune moments!), really bad hairdays, really bad haircuts on people (what were they thinking?), missing out on that great sale price for toilet tissue, and last but not least - getting a busy signal when you are trying to call someone! Yep, it is ALL the work of the devil, no doubt.:P

I also disagree with this. Sickness happens because of things going on in our body systems, allergens/allergic reactions, etc. It also comes about as a result of things people do that contribute to illnesses or diseases, such as smoking, drinking, medicine addictions, drugs, etc. I do want to clarify, however, that I'm not directly saying that the above listed addictions will make you sick if you do them, but that they can contribute to and/or may cause problems in the area of illnesses.
Bad luck caused by the devil? I really don't see how that makes any sense. Things happen for the better or for the worse without the devil sticking his nose into it!

Thank you for injecting your common sense into this, jcribb. ;) You know I don't believe in the concept of the devil, period, thus my smart-a** reply. This was one I couldn't resist.....and I really do want to know where all those socks go! ;D

Yes, because god gives us "free will", but then let's his monster creation (the devil) interfere with his children's (our) free will. All the while god knows everything that will happen past, present, and future, so there's no way we could ever have "free will", anyway.
MAKES PERFECT SENSE!
(Sorry, just had to throw my "smart *bleep*" comment in there as well. ;D)
