I have heard alot about Vitamin D. I was looking at Dr Oz one day and he said most people that are over weigt have a vitamin D defifiency. Do you agree? What helps you lose weight? Im trying to lose 30 plus pounds.

i'm on a diet, everyone is different, so different things work for different people, for me, i have to crush diet, i loose a lot of weight, but then give up, i hope this time i'll stick to it.

I was taking a vitamin d for weight loss,but quit taking it.Didn't really take long enough to see if it works.I forget to take pills.Might have to give it another shot.

I've never heard that before but I may have to look into it. I've watched the Dr. Oz show before and he has some great tips and information so it's worth looking into I'm sure

I want to try it I heard him say that too. I want to lose 50 pounds, put on weight after my Mom passed away.

Exactly. But as long as you count your calories and stay under what your body needs you will lose weight regardless of exercise. say you need 2500 per day to maintain your weight. If you eat 2000 per day you can lose a pound a week you need to burn 3500 to lose one pound.

Hmm i never heard about that, ill have to check it out and make sure my diet has enough vitamin d!

I don't know about that. Seems most vitamin supplements are bogus but I will check it out. I spend a good part of each day outside and take a multi vitamim each day so doubt if I am deficient. I never have watched Dr. Oz so I don't know how valid his ideas are.

I like Dr. Oz and I watch his shows and reviews on the Internet. Sometimes I believe what he is saying...sometimes I don't! Every person (patient) is different. What works for one person...does not necessarily work for another. The results are always different. I have tried to lose weight many times. Diet alone does not work. This is what really work: exercise...even plain walking will help, drink water and lose water by taking water pills and buy an Alli starting kit and read all the booklets-They show you all the no's! No bread, pasta, rice, cake and many other fattening foods. If you want do the pills...they work because it is the only FDA approved lose weight program. Google: List of FDA lose weight programs- And see the results.

Thanks for the info ancmetro. I will definetly check out Ali and look into the weightloss program approved by the FDA.
