Post by: tigerlilly01 on June 24, 2011, 04:31:48 am: Does anyone buy or sell on ebay? If so what do you kind of stuff do you buy? I use to buy a lot on ebay but for some reason I haven't for the past year or so. I have been looking at ETSY a lot lately and thinking of buying a few things on their site.

WTF, it wasn't even fake...I was really upset about this --- whoever reported me is ignorant. I can't even buy off of ebay anymore. Even if I got in trouble for selling mistakes, they shouldn't take away my buying privileges --- I think they need to re vamp their rules a bit.

I've had very few problems with it thus far and is a great way to sell to a large number of people. They do take a small fee when you sell something, but compared to selling elsewhere its rather cheap.

We once bought a thousand 10mm blue rings and they shipped us a thousand light blue rings that were so small, he could hardly do anything with them.

As with everything some things are over priced but if you stay at it you can usually find some good deals.

Bidding is quite exciting, haven't recently had time for it now so i mostly do buy-now. U gotta watch the shipping charges on items. But it is great for finding stuff that u cant find & are inexpensive. :thumbsup:

I used to buy cds on ebay but I got sick and tired of the bidding wars. Now I mostly just stick with amazon. I think you can usually get a better deal anyway.

I have been selling enough to pay for my car payment every month, my car insurance, phone bill and electric bill. I have gone on 3 vacations with the money I have made from ebay. Its a lot of work but its fun and I enjoy it.

I havn't really had a problem, I just wished that the shipping on some thing's was so high. Right now I'm looking at camera's, I need a good digtal at a good price. :wave:

For instance I've heard several cases from friends who bought off of ebay and never recieved what was promised on the page of interest. :sad1:

They only last 2 weeks. Last year I bought a Lexmark printer. I should have checked out that the cartridges for this printer cannot be refilled. These were my errors. I have been very happy with Ebay.
