Title: Administrator password forgot on computer
Post by: AdamH1978 on July 01, 2011, 09:50:48 pm: I have looked this issue up, but I haven't found any real answers other than deleting your operating system and restoring. I don't know what my Administrator password is on my computer and can't do quite a few offers as they require permission from the administrator. Feels pretty stupid that I don't know my own password or recall ever setting up an administrator password on my computer. Anyone else having this problem? Perhaps I'll just have to use the internet on my phone. Not sure what to do. :dontknow:

I do appreciate the help, thank you. :thumbsup: Unfortunately, I did every step and it would not allow me to do this. I decided to use an administrator password reset where you burn a cd and restart the computer. This too did not work on my laptop as it required an internet connection and this isn't available on my laptop until the computer boots up normally. I'll take it to a computer technician and shell out some cash. I really feel very overwhelmed by computers like nothing else. Win some and you lose some, thank you again. ;)
