I tip at restraunts that provide me a service but if I have to get my own food like a buffet I tip but not has much as full service.  Delivaries I am not to sure what you mean.  I don't tip like mail person or ups. Waitress sometimes don't even make minum wage so they depend on thier tips to make up for it.  I like to leave about 20% of the bill or a dollar per person it depends on the service and how much money I have. One time I left a tip with a check because I didn't have any cash on me and I didn't know it and the waitress accepted it.

Yes I do tip for delievery like for Pizza that is a service being provided to me. Where I live we don't have pizza delivery we don't even have a pizza hut.  When I go out I do tip for delivary when I am staying at a motel I also tip the housekeepers who come  in and clean my room everyday that I am there, I do this because I feel this is a service provided to me and its something I would have to do for myself if there was no services for me.  It depends on each individual but I had relitives who worked as a waitress and housekeeper and I know they don't get paid much so I try to help out when I can, or I feel like I took advantage of that service.

Yes we tip here it is usually at least 15 %of what the bill is.  If that is only a few cents a for a drink at sonic i usally do 50 cents.

I always tip at restaurants and the delivery people too. It seems rude not to for some reason.

Yeah, I tip for delivery, though generally not as much as a nice restaurant.  I go by the 10-15% rule, though it depends on the quality of service.  I try to round it to a nice even number such as $15.00 or $15.50 as close to the percentage I feel is right...

I usually tip even for delivery of pizza, at first when they put the delivery charge on the bill I thought that was the tip that I was being forced to pay then I found out that it was a charge from the restaraunt so I started tipping again.  One restaraunt around here the delivery persons were rude enough to ask for a tip.  they would say "Do you want your change back?"  I think well I was going to give you a tip but not a 9 dollar one so yes give it all back.  Have a good day.  I don't like it when people ask for the tip or act like you owe it to them.  I used be a waitress and never treated people like that.  Even if I didn't get tipped they all received the best service I could give them.

In recent years, the tip is being included in the price.

Yes, I tip.  It's the way I was raised.  I worked in restaurants when I was younger.  I appreciated tips when I got them.  I tip for delivery also.  If the tip is included, then I usually don't.

It's been years since I ordered delivery to my house.  I will rarely get delivery to hotel rooms and if I do then yes I will tip for delivery.

in restaurant management, so it almost be
unholy NOT to tip. although, i've tipped very
little for super bad service before (not
busy and not even a weekend? come on now)

as far as delivery goes, yes. normally 5 bucks.

I always tip for delivery and restaurant service. Buffet I don't tip as much, but you still get waited on, so I feel that they should receive something.

Alot of places charge for delivery. But you got to think about the poor soul delivering that barely makes min. wage usually. If I have it I do it.

When I say pizza delievery tipping i mean do u tip for delivery i am a delivery driver and my pay actually goes down to 5.25 plus i have to pay for my own gas so we count on tips, and for the person who gets mad when u ask for change what do u want us to do just take the money and leave. So please think about giving tips for delivery people we count on tips like waitresses but we have lots less customers and have to pay for our own gas!!!

i usually tip 5 percent for delivery just because if it is fast service they deserve something- and the delivery person isnt making much anyway and they could use it in a tough economy

5% is like nothing unless you spend a lot think about it most people dont spend 100 and even if u do thats only 5 dollars if u spend 30 on pizza 5 % is only 1.50 which is better then nothing but basically is nothing

I try and tip at least 15% when I go out to eat or bigger if the service is better or there is a large group of us. Tipping on delivery I probably tip about 10% sometimes a little more, I know that is the main money they make every night is coming from tips.

Yes I tip  both in restaurants and for delivery food.  I consider it part of the deal when eating out.  For your service person or delivery person it is part of their pay and their hourly wage is structured (lower) in consideration of the fact that tipping is considered part of the pay.  I, too, have a standard amount that I tip for delivery $5 and in restaurants generally 20% of the bill.

I definitely tip my caregivers of any kind. Waitress, maid at the hotel, delivery people, taxi drivers, hairdresser, Airport sky caps who help me with my luggage, etc. I also remember my mail carrier at Christmas (just a little something). She has come to my home to deliver big packages and picks up packages for mailing, etc., at my front door. That's service in my opinion. She has also let me pay her for stamps and such, and puts them in my mailbox the next day. Also tip my Schwans delivery guy. Anything that is service oriented deserves a tip.

However, I don't like restaurants that automatically add the tip to the bill. Some places are doing this now and that's a big turn off for me. It should be up to the customer if they want to tip or not. I always tip something, even if it's bad service, but when they start "obligating" the customer to pay a gratuity, then that's going too far.

I'll tip at restaurants where the gratuity is not included already in the bill. As far as delivery guys some of them are just meanies that don't deserve tips. Most of the time no I won't tip but some delivery places already charge for delivery anyway. The guy is already getting paid from that.

Yes I would. People work hard for their wages and salary. Between 15-20% for eating out. I have never ordered anything for delivery.

THE DELIVERY CHARGE YOU GET PAID DOES NOT GO TO THE DRIVER !!!! THAT GOES TO THE PIZZA COMPANY I AM A DELIVERY DRIVER AND THEY HAVE A 2.50 DELIVERY CHARGE THAT DOES NOT GO TO THE DRIVER OUR PAY GOES DOWN TO 5.25 WHEN WE DELIVER AND WE COUNT ON TIPS TO BALANCE OUT OUR PAY PLUS OUR OWN GAS WE HAVE TO PAY FOR.

I tip at both restaurants and food deliveries. If I eat at a restaurant for lunch, I try and tip around 15% if they do a good job. For supper, I tip more around the 20% mark. And deliveries, I just usually throw in a couple extra dollars or whatever makes the payment come out closer to what even cash I have on hand.

I Tip for both Delivery and Restaurants. My family has been in the Rest. Business for quite a few years and waiters and waitereses do not even make Minimum wage. They make about $3 an hour and they count on the tips for their main income. Same way with the Pizza deliveriers, most places they only make so much per pizza they deliver and that is not much and they have to pay for their own gas. This is why it is a very fluctuating business, what I mean is that people don't often do it very long, because it normally is very low wage and if they don't get tips they can't even support their gas.

I make sure I tip at restaurants, not to the FEDEX or UPS man though. Working in the service industry as a Nail Tech, I believe that if someone gives you great service then you should in turn tip. However, if the person does a not so great job, then it should be at your own disgression.

I usually tip if they do a good job. If they don`t do a good job, i do not tip.

Pizza delivery if they are nice to me i will tip at least 5 dollars. Even if my order is only 10 dollars, people depend on their tips to live.
