I have the no d tv unfortunately, just a massive 200 pound 36 inch JVC tube tv. I've read the reviews on cnet and consumer reports and I want at least a 50 inch 1080p plasma from Samsung, Panasonic, or LG. My goal is to have enough money set aside from several sources including here to purchase a tv on Black Friday of this year.
What size and brand is your tv? Do you like your tv or wish you had saved up for a bigger or better tv?
your right, r0bb I meant SD and not no D. ;) Changed it to make more sense, thanks for the heads up.

I have an HD TV and love it! It is crazy switching from regular channels to HD channels and seeing what a difference it makes. I have absolutely no desire in getting a 3D TV. I don't even like watching the 3D movies in theaters. I'm not sure why, they just do not interest me. I hope this fad phases out soon.

I have an HD Flat screen 32 in TV. I have not gone to the 3D. I really don't see the need for it unless you play alot of 3D movies. I really don't think they have much 3D TV out there. I also wait for the prices to come down. I never buy anything when they first come out - Too Expensive. I was thinking of buying a Kindle but, am waiting for it to drop below $100. When they first came out they were $199, now I see they are down to $114. I will wait a few more months and see if they drop.

I just bought a Sony camera DSC-WX9 for 200 dollars that shoots images in 3D that you can upload to your 3D tv. Curious to see what it looks like. As far as the Kindle goes the 114 dollar version does not have 3G and has advertisements that show at the bottom of the page to offset the cheaper price. There is a 3G with advertisements as well and that too is cheaper than the no intrusions 3G. I got my 3G no advertisement Kindle at a *bleep* shop called Cash Converters for 100 dollars. I love it as I'm an avid reader and like playing games such as Monopoly on it.

I have a HDTV. I would consider 3DTV down the line when they are cheaper and preferably without the requirement of glasses.

Just your standard definition TVs here with digital converter boxes. We have three working TVs - two which are I believe 27 inches, and another 13 inch.

I have a 42 inch HDMI tv. I think it does a great job since it is not on that much. We love the sound quality as well as the picture quality.

What television? :p I don't have one.
My parents have a nice 16-inch television (or something big that takes up half their living room) which they use to watch movies and let my brother play video games on. We don't watch much television.

That is what I'm really interested to know, thanks!! 8) I should have specified in my first post that I'm looking for what brands people have and if they like their tv. I'll modify my first post now. I subscribe to Consumer Reports and Samsung is consistently one of the top brands.

I have a 42" Plasma and I really like it. My old one was going out so my son and daughter-n-law bought it for me on their last visit. I was looking at the small ones because there was no way I could afford a big one. That was a great surprise.

We have an HDtv and used it with an antenna. Now that we're living with my dh's grandma we have direct tv on it. Sometimes I don't really see the difference. :-

I don't watch TV. I had an old style TV from years ago, and gave it to my mom last year when hers broke down. I haven't missed it.

An old regular TV I never use. I don't watch TV. I'm an internet junkie.

I have a 36 inch HD and a cpl of SD tv's too <<<isn't SD what you mean by No D ?
I only use the HD to play xbox though, I hardly watch TV at all, however I wish I'd gotten a bigger set )= I almost did but for some reason though it would be bigger than it was ( I ordered it online...)

I just have a regular nothing special tv set. Not sure how big it is exactly, a decent enough size for me though. The brand is Curtis Mathes. That's the tv in my bedroom. The one in the living room is probably twice the size and I'm thinkin' it's just a regular one too. Don't remember what brand it is though. Have three others in the house, different sizes, unsure of their brands but are all regular tv sets as well.

My husband bought a 40" HD TV last year. At first I didn't like it because it was too big, but now I appreciate the almost cinematic quality of the picture.

HD 32 inches from Sony

I am one of the few who do not own a TV. I don't even know what programs are on anymore.
