I used to pick up pennies if I saw them on the street, store, wherever, but not anymore. I'm not rolling in dough, but I'm not desperate either. The trade off of unknown germs isn't worth the reward of 1 cent these days. When I was a kid, and I'm only 33, I could buy designated penny candy from the local convenience store so a penny was worth something to me. I usually won't bother unless it's a dime or above, how many germs can be on a dime? :P

I'll pick up anything...dollar bills I will donate to my church!

A penny ...a peso whatever :) A penny saved is a penny earned.
As for the germs, all money has that but if you really don't want that hundred I can find a good place for it. ;D

I'd rather earn my pennies on this site than pick one of the ground, outside of my house of course. I'm constantly picking up pennies and other change off my floor so they don't get sucked up in the vacuum. As for the 100 me and Benjamin had a lot of fun hanging out while it lasted. Keep me in mind for all those pennies your earning. I'll give you my paypal account address. :)

I don't pick up anything off the street! Yuck!
-
If I see it, I'll pick it up....lol. Lately, I've found more green than copper.
-
it will have to be a quarter for me to bend over to pick it. it takes too much energy to bend....lol
-
if I see any one, I will pick it up. so I can save them, cos when in the store, even if there is one penny, you have to pay, I know that is not much. but for me, we should save even one penny since there are many people who doesn't even have food to eat, if each of us save one penny and donate it then the population of USA, gather all, it would reach more than 300 Million cents,30 million dime, 3 million dollars
-
I don't care what it is whether it's a penny to a quarter, as long as it is US currency, I'll pick it up! As for it not worth it, today, I found coins that added up to 29 cents! 29 cents that didn't have just landed in my pockets. Germs, are every where that's way you bring pack of wipes with when you go out. We Americans are too over medicated anyway. How can our bodies develop immunity to the viruses & disease when we stop the process by taking that drug, or getting that flu shots. You know what's dirtier than a penny off the ground? Lip locking with your love one doing the french. I don't care how much you brush or gargle, there still be trillions of germs & viruses living & breeding in your mouth. So, my thing is see a penny pick it up, you get free change, some physical exercise no costly membership required, exercise your immune system no shot or doctor visit required. It' a win - win deal!

It is amazing how many pennies and other coins I find in the Walmart parking lot. It is also amazing how fast it adds up. It is sort of like doing the dailys on Fusion Cash. It amounts to about $10.00 a month. As I said "AMAZING". ;D
-
A penny saved is a penny earned and I will always stoop to pick up a penny. I will even pick up a Euro which is worth even less on aforeign exchange rate at about 7/8s of a cent. I will pick up an aluminum can worth 3/4s of a cent. They say that it costs Bill Gates two hundred dollars to stop and pick up a one hundred dollar bill but I am not in that league andjust scrambling to give my children every monetary opportunity available which is why I post here.
-
I've found that picking up a head's up penny usually costs me a dollar because my husband thinks they're lucky :BangHead: but I pick up all the money I find. It's free money after all ;D

I'll pick up pennies, check the date on them and throw them in the dish water.
-

No pennies, but quarters are very tempting. It is hard for me to pick them up.
-

-

-
I used to always pick up anything I found. But now, I usually just kick pennies, if its anything else I will pick it up.
-
For me, it does not matter what type of coin it is. We all know from this site that 'a penny saved is a penny earned' and eventually it adds up to $25.00. Cash me out please...
-
I will pick up just about anything.
-
penny
-
penny works for me. It all adds up!
-
I usually will pick up any coin as long as there is not a lot of people around close by! I guese i should not worry about what the next person behind me is thinking, when they see me pick up that dime, because they may pick it up themselves!
-
I hardly ever see any kind of money at all on the street... but I'd pick up anything I guess... and I too miss penny candy, I'm younger though so I'd bet your penny candies were better. I only remember flavored tootsie rolls, and them really hard PAL bubble gums ever being a penny.
-
if it's money i pick it up. :)
-
As long as I can pick it up I will. More Money for charity! :peace:
-
I will bend down and pick up a penny, it may take a while so that I can get a cup of coffee, but they do add up! I am amazed at how many people just throw them away. Our bank will count them for you (free) and deposit the money or give you the cash. I am surprised that most banks don't want the coins wrapped, they want to count the money.
-
are you doing email offers on fusioncash? That's like picking 2 pennies of the street...does it really make a difference? Yes, in 365 days you will have about $7 :BangHead:
-
Money is money ... no shame in my game I would pick them all up.
As far as the germs, from picking up a coin, statement doesn't make sense.
Think about all the handling the coins in the cash register or bank for that matter.
They are not sterile.
Free standing money out in the elements is probably cleaner than the ones that are
handled all over the place ...
-
I will pick up every penny, nickel, dime, quarter I see.
A penny here, a penny there adds up.
I come to FusionCash to collect "pennies" too.
-
I just found a quarter yesterday. but I will pick up anything. even a good coupon lol. I work at a dry cleaners and in the washer there was $25 bucks floating around. I would have returned it but with so many clothing items, cant tell whos it was. Soooo i went to pizza hut for supper! ::)
-
I pick up pennys - they are good luck!!!!!
-
Only If It's heads up!(for a penny that is)
A nickel or quarter might be worth saving >.<
I once found a 50$ bill in the bathroom, I was only like 9
I was smart though, I asked everyone in the bathroom if they dropped/lost any money, If they said yes I would make them tell me how much they lost. Everyone said they didn't, So I Split it with my brother xP
-
hey found money is worth picking up .01 .05 .25 is money you didn't have before.
-
I will pick up any coin as long as it is heads up when i see them,,,,,,,good luck folk lore
-
Heck if it has value I will pick just about anything up including the loose change. This economy is wound up too tight to leave money laying around no matter how many germs are on the subject.
-
I will pick up anything even if it's a penny , I save change for my kid's.
-
i just picked up a penny yesterday when i went to the mall..
-
I pick up all coins I find. I need it all.
-
I'm willing to pick up any money off the ground even if its just a penny. I work at a popular store in my area and I find all kind of money. Sometimes, people will give me a dollar. Then, I usually find pennies, quarters, nickels, and dimes. One day I found 50 cents on top of a garbage can out front. I took it when no one is paying any attention LOL.
-
I'd pick up a quarter. I don't collect so a penny wouldn't add up for me.
-
I honestly will pick up any coin I see. I don't care if it is "only" a penny. I don't have a job right now, everything helps.
-
I don't find much money on the ground (not that I'm looking), but when I do see something I'll grab a nickel or higher unless the penny is really nice and shiny.
-
"Find a penny, pick it up! All day long you'll have good luck!"
"A penny saved is a penny earned!"
I just saved that penny from a possible life of homelessness, so I earned it!
-
I will pick up any coins that I find! I put them in my daughters piggy bank. Pennies add up quickly. You can always wash the germs off your hands :)
-
Any found change is blessings from heaven! I pick up all of them. My daughter almost caused me to get hit once when she told me there was a penny in the parking lot as we were walking through. I stopped suddenly to look for it almost causing a car to hit me.
-
coins and all money are loaded with germs, use hand sanitizer!
-
I pick up any money I see laying on the ground. It adds up and helps a lot, especially right now while I don't have a job.
-
i pick any money it all add up
-
When I was younger I would walk past pennies on the ground. But since I turned 40 (I'm 51 now) I pick up anything. I come from an old fashion family, (penny saved is a penny earned). What do you think?
-
I have always picked up loose change off floor. Mostly pennies, but if you get enough of them you have a dollar. Every little bit helps.
-
ill pick up any kind of money lol
-
$ is $, so whoever doesn't want $ on the street, it's their lost and your gain.
-
I pick up pennies. I'll pick up ANY amount. The largest amount I've ever found was a $20 coming out of a grocery store.
My parents used to put all found money in a large pickle jar and each year they would put it in a special savings account. They would pick up any amount too, and all those pennies were rolled and put in the account.
Another thing I like about pennies is that I KEEP ALL of the older "wheat" pennies. Coin collectors will give $$$ for those.
-
I pick up any money that I find on the street
-
Lucky penny! I'll pick up any coin, you don't know when they will all add up later so you can get that extra something :D
-
If I'm willing to get a penny or two for working on this site,I'll surely pick them up off the ground if I find them. ;)
-
It doesn't really matter to me, it's still found money, even a penny. Then I can put it in my piggy bank so it'll add up after a while :)
-
I will pick up dimes, nickels and pennies. It all adds up over the course of the year.
-
I'll even pick up Canadian coins...
-
Hey Everybody, here's my first post with a Video Link. Watch the video, and enjoy the show. In this video I answer 2 topics, and make my first suggestion for finding referrals for Fusion Cash. Feel free to come back here, and add your comments.

Note: First video correction. My dates are messed up. The video should have been for Monday, August 15th, and the next video will be corrected to say August 16. Sorry about that.

I am never too rich to pick up pennies. I pick them up for good luck. If you see a penny and pick it up all day you will have goo luck. My mother taught me that song and now I tell my kids that same song.
-
i pick up any change i see. the way i see it is other people are throwing money away, it all adds up. i used to work at a mall after hours, i would find at least $5.00 in change everyday. every little bit helps
-
I pick up any change that I see. In one day all I did was pick up pennies on my 6 hour walk and wound up with fifteen cents. So they add up.
-
to be honest probably a quarter
nothin less sorry
and its not cuz that im too good for it
-
Find a penny, pick it up.
All day long, you have good luck.
Watch out, I will fight you for all the loose change...........lol.
-
10 pennies equal a dime and germs are on everything we touch from grocery store doors, to anything, so what is the difference.
-
It just depends on if i am in a rush or what i am doing because any money helps and with the germs you say yuck on the floor but i am pretty sure your change in your pocket has been on the floor before but typically a dime or up just depends but a quarter yes for sure
-
i pick it up whatever it might be, as so many have said ... it adds up. i do carry disposable hand cleaner thingies in my purse, so ... i don't worry about germs too much.
-
I won't pick up any pennies that are sitting tails up. Just a superstition I have. Gotta be heads up or I aint touchin it! :D
-
I pick up cans, bottles, and anything that will make me some money!
-
This is an interesting question! I guess that the smallest coin that I would pick up on the street is a nickel
-
It depends on my mood ;D sometimes I will pick up a penny but usually it has to be a little larger value for me to bend over and pick it up :) I figure if you pick up enough it will add up! Of course it all depends on where it is laying and how dirty it looks !!!!
-
quarter
-
Penny!
-
The smallest coin I'd pick up is a penny. Only face up. My family told me to only pick up face up pennies for good luck. Silly, huh?
-
ill pick up pennies
-
I've really only ever bothered to pick up silver change. I see pennies a lot, but I get so darn tired of having so many pennies that I don't want to drag home more.
-
I don't pick up any coins on the street at all. One thing germ-wise it's very dangerous. I also understand that people who practice the dark arts put hexes and jinxes and curses on coins and throw them at crossroads. It's a shame but something so innocent as picking up a coin can cause so much grief. It's just not worth it.

quarter
