Title: To Tony and all other recently passed pets, sorry for your loss
Post by: AdamH1978 on July 26, 2011, 04:13:46 am
I was in the debate forum this morning and saw a thread about what kind of pet you have.  Not sure why this is in the debate forum, but that's beside the point.  I noticed that SherylIsShado is having a rough week as her cat Tony had to be euthanized due to heart disease complications. :( I'm normally stoic, but I'm not ashamed to say it brought a tear to my eye.  Reminded me of losing my pet.  Time heals wounds like this, but I'll always remember my buddy and have a smile.

Certainly nice of you to post this for Tony.

I have a pet, but it's a rather diminished one, at best. It just doesn't like life, let alone people. I try to care for it, but it just hisses, pisses, and pukes over everything.
Scratches my 2-year old, and hides under the other bed. We want to find the :cat: a home, but I don't think anyone would take it.

Wow, I know it's not funny for you, but I had a chuckle over the "hisses, pisses, and pukes". :o  Put the cat in a box on your neighbor's front porch, ring the doorbell, and run. ;)  I love my two cats right now, but they have a nasty habit of puking up hairballs.  I've taken them to the vet and they gave me this gel that I put on their paws and they lick off.  When they actually lick it and not try to fling it off their paw it works okay.  Not full proof though.
