I think everyone has problems.  Right now everyone is worried about finances and how they are going to afford things.  If we all didn't need extra cash we wouldn't be here that is for sure.  Thats not the only reason why I do these site to make money it gets me out of being depressed and moving every day especialy FC because of the daily  emails and paid to click if I dont get out of bed and participate I will loose out it gives me encouragement and something to work torwards.  I have several other site I earn money on and I am doing pretty good with them as well.  I have muscle disease and fibrobmyalgia and chronic pain so I need this it helps me cope.

@blondie71, I totally salute you, most people with physical/medical problems would just give up & be depressed. You know, give up & just waste away. When my husband passed, it was like living with half a soul. By nature, I'm the dark & depressed one & he was the positive, happy, joy, joy type. With our short comings we complement each other perfectly but now I feel like I'm living half a life. FC got me to do something each day rather then just staring at the walls in the dark wondering what I could have done to save him. When I do the tasks on FC, I too feel like I've accomplished something. This also helps me to keep up to date with my computer skills which is very lacking. So yes, money worries, what's the government doing worries, will I get up today, will I feed the cats today, or will I start balling for no reason today. I just take it as it comes day by day.

Thank you and I know how you feel.  Thats why I do this FC and other sites to keep busy and not worry about it.  When the pain is to bad I take my meds and lay down but I always get back up and read the forums on here and look forward to meeting people and hopeful maybe encorage if I can.  I don't have any friends other than my husband and sister so sometimes I need someone else to talk to.  I am so glad I found this website and joined it makes life easier when you can talk to others and get it off your chest and communicate with the rest of the world.

Where you able to get your disability?  I have been trying for 9 years and I had a hearing in June and just got back the resaults and I was denied once again.  None of my doctors are supporting me.  They tell me one thing and write another in my file so I don't know what I am going to do.  They said I have several retrictions but I don't know of any place that will hire me with those restrictions.  My mother says get a job and let them fire me but I don't know if thats going to help.  Every doctor has there own opinion and the whole thing is just confusing me I feel like giving up I mean 9 years.  I know people who get disability and is working under the table full time I cant even work 10 hours a week without being in total pain.  I sweep my floor and I have to take a break and than the next day I am in so much pain I can't stand it how to you coup with the pain what do you take?

blondie71. yes i did get ssd after about 1.5 yrs.  did you go to a pain specialist?  i was fortunate enough to find a doc that believed in fibro, so many don't sadly.  but out of the 18 verifiable fibro points i had 14, plus high emotional issues due to losing my job, stress related to all that etc.  i'm older and had worked for yrs, the ssd isn't really enough to live on but if i scrimp i do okay. i've had to sell stuff to make ends meet, don't get to the doctor's like i should because i can't afford the copays for specialists but i do okay sorta.  anyway, do you IM anywhere so we could connect?  would be easier than carrying conversation here ... don't know how to sahre info here ...

yeah finances are an issue.
learning how to say no ... is a close second.
tolerance for people that just don't listen ... is my third.

Problems are just challenges that have to be faced and deciding how to outwit the situation.

you know sometimes it's not the pain as much as it's the mind numbing exhaustion that comes with fibro.  it's like walking thru mud on daily basis but the mud is up to your waist or higher.  some people think it's laziness, but trust me, it's soooo much more ... the pain, burning and then the over all exhaustion somedays ugh.  anyway, i pray for your sister too and thanks for your prayers!

Money
Fiance that drives me nuts
Chronic pain and now with 3rd degree burns added on that
Depression
Anxiety

Btw...what symptoms do you look out for for fibro? I'm just curious because some days I have horrible pain that is widespread and I'm not sure what to do. At what point did you go to the DR about it and how did you bring it up?

My problems would include trying to find a full-time job and staying caught up on bills. That's why I enjoy sights like this-- every little bit helps me!

you got it bad, but i understand, sadly!  if you do a general net search on fibromyalgia you'll get more info than you can imagine.  there are so many symptoms that you have to go thru a lot of different tests to rule out other diseases/illnesses ... it bites, but it is what it is ... you should prob start with your primary care person, tell 'em what's going on (all of it!) and then they'll refer you to a mirade of doc's, run a mirade of tests and then narrow things down. widespread pain, exhaustion, depression can be numerous things ... hope this helps. fibro is sometime the diagnosis if they can't pin it down to ruem arth, ms, lupis, etc .... sooo, best to get it checked, in my humble opnion ....  :notworthy:
