I still like going to the movies but I prefer dvds because you can always rewind to a part you missed.
-
It depends on the movie. If it is something I have been waiting for, usually go to see the movie. If it is something I just want to see, then DVD.
-
If it is a movie that I know that my family and I will really like I will just buy the DVD. If not, I will just go see it at the theatre!
-
I haven't been to the movies in years, but I love the ambience there. DVDs for me.
-
I like DVD's because you can take breaks from the movie and not loose where you left off.
-
I like to do both. I love going to the movies but sometimes I miss my chance to see a movie that I meant to see or I want to see something I saw before again. That's where DVD's come in, they fill in the blank. I like them both. The movie experience is wonderful, watching something exciting on the screen, eating snacks in the dark it's the best!

I like both. I won't buy a DVD unless I have seen the movie and could like to see again. Unless it is a movie I like to watch over and over I won't purchase the DVD.
-
i watch everything online
-
I used to go to the movies a lot but the price has gone up so much in the past 5 years or so. So we go there only once or twice a year.
I don't buy DVD, I always wait till it comes out for rental.
-
It depends...Sometimes I want the theater experience of being apart of a crowd and watching on the big screen, but somethings I want to just chill at home and watch a DVD.
-
DVDS because you can watch them as many times as you want.
-
I love going to the movies- The whole experience from the popcorn smell to the previews.
But, since I own a video rental store, I rarely go anymore.
-
I generally prefer DVD's because they actually come out to be cheaper, sometimes even if you buy them. Every once in a while a movie will come out that I really want to actually go to see. For example, Contagion, any X-Files movie.

both

buy dvds. i do go to the movies, but i don't like it as much as watching them at home. plus the bonus features make it worth it. a ticket is pretty much the cost of the dvd anyway, so its not really worth it to go out anymore.
-
I go to the movies once a month or so. I don't buy movies for myself but get them for my daughter. Netflix and whatever is on tv works fine for me.
-
There is no reason to go to movie theaters. The movie will eventually get released on DVD, then you can watch it much as you like, and only had to pay once. The DVD versions also have the scenes they removed for its theater run.
-
I prefer to buy dvds but if my fiance and I want to have a movie date night we will go see a new movie that just came out in theaters.
-
I love going to the movies but with a small baby boy that is impossible.... so for now I buy or rent dvd's :dontknow:
-
Some movies are better when you see them at the theater such as Transformers and other movies involving action adventure. Dvds are suitable for dramas and comedy.
-
i rather not go to the theaters because it is not safe like it used to anyone can get attacked or killed out here going to these places.i feel better watching dvds at home where i feel safer at. :peace:

I have been a member of NetFlix's for about a year, and it has significantly reduced my movie attendance and the amount of DVD's I buy.
