Title: DO YOU THINK WALMART WILL USE LAYWAY AGAIN?

I wish wal-mart would use lay-away again not just for christmas but every day. Does anyone know why they don't and do you know if they will have layaway again?

I REALLY HOPE SO lol I Freaking love layaway!! If Walmart had it I would probably not shop at Kmart so much LOL

I thought I had heard wal-mart did have layaway back -- could be just for the holiday's
I think there is a lot of staffing and storage needed on their part and they weren't really making any additional $$ on it.

If they have enough interst I am sure they will consider it.  But if the costs for storage are greater than the money they make off of the layaways it probably will not happen.

I never knew Walmart use to have layaway. I wish Target did :)

Yes, I heard they will start using Lay-a-way this month.  I don't know if it's just for the holidays are here to stay.  I pray they are.

My daughter in law is a manager at wal-mart and they are opening up lay away in their store, I guess this is just for christmas but, they are opening up lay away and are already hiring on for christmas also.

I couldn't tell you, it seemed like a money maker to me.  I wish they would bring it back.

yes everyone they are bringing layaway back for the holidays i have a brotherinlw that works there anyway i think its the 16th of this month

I hope they get back laid-way in my city. I miss shop and then paying it off little by little.

I didnt know they had a lay away option, but for them to get rid of it they must have lost money from it or not as much as they wanted.

If they want to compete with K-mart they will.  I just saw a commercial where K-mart will have layaway.  But I have not seen any advertising for Wal-mart layaway. Thats is just my opinion.

I do not think that Walmart will use layaway again.  If Walmart do have layaway again I will be the first in line. As of today I will have to use Kmart layaway.
