my wife love most of them but I think they are a wast of time and good t.v.
-
they pretty mush are a waste of time unless you are on it, or if its jeopardy or thw wheel of fortune.
-
you a person after my way of thinking!
-
I like The Price is Right...especially on those days where you are sick and miss work, but you need a laugh in the late part of the morning.
-
I could care less but my mother loves to watch them. She likes the Price is Right, or the Wheel of fortune the best.
-
They're not a waste of time if someone enjoys them! I personally love reality gameshows, like The Amazing Race. You'd be surprised if you gave certain shows more of a chance...some of them can be intellectually stimulating by helping you learn new things.

I think they are cool. love to watch them. especially price is right and wheel of fortune.
-
I think that some of them are fun to watch especially Family Feud which I love to watch.

What is good TV, certainly not all this reality stuff on. I personally like game shows, it tests your mind as long as there is trivia and questions involved, etc. Not any of the newer goofy ones.

most game shows suck now.....i can only watch jeopardy and family feud, but even family feud kinda sucks :confused1:

I think you can learn a lot from game shows like Jeopardy! Watch it sometime and see if YOU can answer the questions! :dontknow:

I tend to favor the game shows where you need to answer questions - tests your brain - like Jeopardy and Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. I know there are other Q&A type game shows that are more targeted toward specific genres that aren't my cup of tea (I know of several music or lyric shows which you can answer the questions, but I'm just not that interested in the subjects).
I'm not that huge a fan of "reality" contests like Big Brother or Survivor. Of those type the only ones I favor were The Amazing Race, and briefly The Mole. I liked The Mole when the way they filmed it you could play detective by watching and deciphering clues they included in the show itself that pointed the viewer to the answer, but liked it less when they started tailoring the show so you had not chance to figure it out. I find the Amazing Race as the most brilliant travel advertising invented yet - lots of the activities and places the contestants travel to are very interesting and I know due to the show, I've added quite a few destinations to my "must go to some day" list.

I used to love the classic game shows (Let's Make a Deal, Price is Right, Family Feud (with Richard Dawson), Press Your Luck, Jeopardy, etc.) when I was a kid, but now I'm more *blah* about the shows, esp with the new ones where there isn't much thinking involved. I do enjoy the reality game shows, esp. where there is some type of skill involved besides all of the politics of not getting voted off (and actually, the more social reality game shows like Big Brother, I Love Money, and even to an extent Survivor, I tend to dislike). So the Amazing Race, Top Shot, and numerous cooking contests (Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, Iron Chef (and Next IC), Next Food Net Star, etc.) are all favorites.

I don't really watch game shows 'cause I don't find them that entertaining. The only game shows I watched were for kids when I was little. Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, etc... And I still think those are better than what's on now. Glad I have Teen Nick.

I prefer the old game shows. Those are a little more fun to watch. They were whacky.
