I much prefer AlertPay over PayPal.
-
I use Paypal, I've never had the opportunity to use AlertPay but then again I do not buy very many stuff online
-
Before I verified my account with both, I preferred AlertPay.
-
Not sure which one I like best. I used and still do paypal way before alertpay.
-
I use Paypal more, but I have nothing against AlertPay.
-
I use paypal but recently had a concern when charges were on my account and I didnt order the products.

Once I had an item majically reappear and charged a second time to my PayPal account. It was taken out of my bank account. It had originally been charged almost a year before, and it was only about a $9.00 charge.
Most people would probably not even have noticed, BUTTTT, thank God, I did. I contacted PayPal, and they made up some excuse about their equipment malfunction. They took off the charge, but IF I had not caught it, then I am sure that they would have never done anything. ALSO, I had the extra money in my bank account to cover it, OTHERWISE, I would have been charged the overdraft fee $30.00.

I USE BOTH.
-
definitely Paypal

PayPal most definitely :)
-
Never heard of Alertpay, but from what people are saying it sounds like it might be useful.
-
i like paypal ihavent heard enough about alertpay
-
I'll continue to use Paypal because it's more widely accepted and it's easier to receive payment from survey sites
-
I've never used AlertPay. What is the difference?
-
I like paypal. Never used alertpay
-
I've never had any problems with Paypal, and nowadays Alertpay isn't able to do online bank transfers. Hmmmm.
That's what I've heard -- that Alert Pay can't do simple bank transfers (a bank wire transfer, perhaps) nor funding via credit cards. If this has been going on since October, it doesn't sound like they have solved a fundamental financial requirement.
-
I Rather use paypal really cause I think they have good service I havnt hade a probleam with them yet ... :star:
-
I've had PayPal forever and have never had a problem with them. I recently signed up for AlertPay because that's the only way one of my earning programs pays, but haven't been able to verify my account with them.
-
I've never seen nor heard of 'Alert Pay'? Whats the difference to PayPal? Also, does paypal require tax identification numbers in order to receive payments from FC? Depending on God's timing and creeks don't run dry whenever i get my first payment from fusion will i need to use my tax id# from my state tax in order to receive a successful payment in my Paypal account?
-
Paypal all the way!
-
paypal seems to be more popular therefore thrust worthy, just my opinion
-
I never heard of AlertPay.
-
not to sure havent had the pleasure of using neither
-
I prefer PayPal instead of AlertPay :)
-
I have never heard of alertpay. Is it any good? :dontknow:
-
PayPal for me. AlertPay is having huge credit card issues now. Hopefully they will survive. It's best to have two or more alternatives. Keep in mind, neither is regulated as banks are, so I don't recommend keeping a large balance with an online service.

AlertPay will allow its users to send money with an unverified account, which PayPal does not.

I prefer PayPal. Last time I checked AlertPay wanted to charge me for an electronic withdrawal to my bank account. With PayPal there is no fee for this and transfers are always timely and ahead of schedule.
-
I'd take alertpay over paypal anyday. I wished how fc would include it as a payment option, but I guess, paypal doesn't like competition, remember in some post it was the main reason that the suggestion was shot down.
-
I have only used Paypal, so I wouldn't know :P
-
Well I finally got verified with AlertPay. It took a little while but I have to say their customer support was exceptionally polite and professional. They have a level of courtesy at AlertPay that seems missing with PayPal's support staff.
Does anyone have the AlertPay debit card yet? I pre-registered and am hoping to get it soon.
-
mw63, from what you've explained about AlertPay, it seems like a courteous technical support and customer service team there. Does AlertPay charge fees for their services to members?
-
i never heard of alertpay, and when i bought stuff on e bay they introduced me to pay pal, i use pay pal and never had a problem.

Like PayPal they have different fees based on different membership types. For someone who would be sending/receiving less than $400 per month or $2,000 over lifetime there's no fees... if someone goes over that much then they need to switch to either a Business or Personal Pro account which I believe is free to send money, and 2.5% to receive money

I have accounts with paypal. alertpay and serve - serve actually had a promo for $5 then a game available for members for another $5. Paypal, especially with account debit card - reigns supreme!
-
Alert pay has run into some problems with the U. S. A. They can not currently deposit money into or take money out of a US bank account. For the time being Alert pay is dead for Americans.
-
I prefer Alertpay over paypal. I like the design layout for that. My only con about that site is it is not fdic insured and it is in Canada. Seeing how Paypal receives massive complaints everyday, I'll take alertpay anyday.
-
I have never heard of AlertPay, but PayPal is FANTASTIC and FusionCash pays my "Cash-outs" pretty regularly.
-
I use paypal every now and then, Never had a problem with them. I just signed up with serve, I like what I see so far from them.
-

I use Paypal but I never heard of AlertPay so I do not use it. :icon_rr: :star:  :angel11: ;D
-
I use Paypal. I've never heard of the other.
-
Just like the comment below mine.... I use Paypal because I have had to for various things. Never heard of the other one. Not too fond of the idea of the accounts period, but eBay and here pretty much need me too. No matter how much I trust Fusion Cash, it's nothing personal, but I don't give my bank account number out ever.

 My thoughts exactly. I've used PayPal for about six years now and just started using AlertPay because there was one site that won't accept PayPal. Alertpay was kind of a hassle, major inconvenience for me compared to how easy/convenient PayPal is. I kind of hate having to use AlertPay...
-
I've had my paypal account for a number of years now, never really used it. So I'm looking forward to collecting some cash pretty soon. But I never heard of AlertPay.
-
I have never heard of AlertPay. I have always used Paypal. Is there a bug difference? Unless Alertpay has better features than Paypal, I probably wouldn't consider changing. Paypal has been good to me so far. :)

There's not a huge difference. I think AlertPay just is another alternative. Some people have had problems with PayPal in the past, so it's another option for them.
One thing I'll say is I think PayPal's customer service has improved a lot since the last time I needed to use them. I recently changed the name on my account and they handled it very fast.
-
I like paypal. I am not too familiar with alertpay. I just heard it for the first time just a couple days ago. So I cant give myy opinion on them. I use paypal mostly.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't tried alert pay. I haven't had any problems with paypal. I have a lot of accounts online and hope not to add more because there are a lot of passwords I have to manage as it is.
-
Paypal, I never heard of Alertpay before?
-
Wow I must be in the dark ages as I have never heard of AlertPay. Now I will have to go online and learn more about it.
-
I tried logging into my AlertPay account to withdraw funds and the site is now the payza.com site. I can't withdraw funds without getting a "server error" :angry7: not happy with them right now.
-
Heard of PP, but I never heard of AP.
-
Paypal. Until Alertpay reduces their fees and more websites utilizes more of them, it's nothing more than a glorified paypal with less options. I do like their interface though; very easy to get around with.
-
I have an alertpay but i use paypal the most.
