Everyone has ambitions and goal and we all want to attain large amount of money one day with (whatever intentions we have at heart). What I would like to know is if you had alot of money, would you change your attitude and person completely? Would you still value the importance of working? Would you be happy?

I think it can change people and make the greedy or it can make someone who is already greedy worse. I think mostly money makes people feel invincible or powerful. They forget that it can go sometimes as quickly as it came. Keeping true to who you are would probably be the key.

HAVING MONEY CHANGES LIVES, BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT EVERYONE CHANGES FOR THE WORSE...I'D GIVE TO THE CHARITIES I'M VERY PASSIONATE ABOUT. :star:

I think yes money will change the person in the beginning but if he was raised with morals and in general he was a good person before getting the money this change will not be for long but if he wasn't that good before getting the money I think this change will be forever

I think it might temporarily change them, but after a while they would go back to their values.

I'd be interested in how much is too much? I've had a fair amount and not enough and I think what makes you seem greedy is the fear of not having enough.

I don't think there is such a thing as too much money. If I had tons of money yes it would definitely change my attitude towards work. Right now I work because I have to not because I want to. Having a lot of money would change my concept of "work." Working a rat race 9-5 type job would have no importance to me. My work would not involve punching a clock. My "work" would be a lot different than now. I wouldn't have to work for money but I would use the money more as a tool to do more of the things I want. My work would be to give back more and have the freedom to not only to change my life but I would be able to do a lot more to change the lives around me on a much grander scale.

how much is too much money ? when you make more than someone ells you are making to much for them .that is what all thous people in new york are saying .

i think power and money corrupts people i mean it is nice to hav it, but to much of it can be damaging.

money is very important as long as you dont let it ruin your life

I believe that too much money could make a financially insecure person even more insecure. Maybe that's where greed
can enter in. I don't believe that money can buy an unhappy person happiness. I guess if I was to sum it up...I believe money can bring out the best in some people...but not necessarily...everyone.

I think even I became wealthy I would be very cautious with my money. I have always had business sense. I am very crafty at making my own items and having money would give me the push to start my own business and make investments. I knw I would never be greedy because I am always helping out other people.

I would love to just have a nice house and be able to pay the bills without worry. I would love to have a lot money so that I could do this and help family members that are in need as well.

Too much money?? Is there such a thing? It all depends on how you have achieved too much money what you do with that money as to if you are greedy. If you have walked all over people & used them to reap such wealth and then do not give back to society, yes, you are greedy. There are too many worthy causes to not want to spread your wealth and help.

I don't think I would change, simply because money might be here today and gone tomorrow, it can't buy you love or happiness, but you know I would love to test the it and see, but I know it won't because I am not as young as I was ten years ago so earthly things are not as important. It would be nice to not work so hard and have nothing left after paying all the bills.

Great question. Hee, Hee......I think that having a lot of money may change me for the worse and that why I believe I won't win the lottery. lol No, but for real....I have known people that went from being broke to being "well off" and for some of them, it did change them. They don't contact us anymore because they feel that they are in a different status than us now. What a shame. :(

In my opinion if I were to become wealthy I feel like I would already know the value of money and could really use the money for good. I might buy a few luxuries but it wouldn't change the things that make me happy. I might take some classes, find work or volunteering I really enjoy without fear of not making enough money to make ends met. I also would purchase a home and newer high mpg car if I could and invest a lot of it for later.
I think the problem lies in not having experienced both sides of finance where greed comes into play.

I think it really depends on the person some people may get greedy but I would like for the most part beleive that they would remember where they came from and try to help when they could. I don't think there money should go to nothing but giveing away spend a little on family and share were you see fit. I hope that I would be that way. Money sometimes has a way of changing people but I would hope I would not change.

Is there such a thing as too much money? For some it might affect them as being greedy, but I think for most it just make them able to live a good secure life.

I started reading the book Jim Cramer's Stay mad for life and I have to say that its a best way to save and build income through 401(k), IRAs, stocks, etc. I am a firm believer that through hard work of saving and investing, one values even a dollar and aren't really focused on greed but on the wellbeing of the individuals family and how they will live out there lives. Please pick it up, its worth it and a good read :D

I do not think that is true fully i mean i am not sure what amount you are talking about but money is a very big topic i have been thinking about lately being a college student right now looking towards my future i think money is a necessitity and it can have lots of beneifts dont get me wrong but those people who work all the time make good money but never have the time to spend it whats the point!!!!! My dad worked all the time but he did not have to he has well enough money, and he missed out a lot of me growing up as well as my siblings that was his choice but i want to live in life not work miserable everyday i will work to what i need to support a family and have a little fun but money does not make you happy necesarily i mean if u make a lot but still have tons of time yeah make the money but if u r gonna make all that money but never have fun whats the point !!!!

I don't think having too much money makes you greedy. It's how you act as an individual, what you do with the money, and if you actually give back to your community and do something purposeful with it while you're on this earth.

If I was to end up wealthy some day, I would continue to work if I still have my job at the time. I would be kind enough to share my wealth with people who needs it more than me. I personally don't think any amount of money will change me at all. I will just be more excited because I would have the freedom to travel and not worry if I have enough money to cover my bills.
