The old saying they are a window to the soul is so true! When you aren't sure if someone is teasing, sincere, compassionate, serious or kind, no matter what they say or do -- look at their eyes! I could never lie because my eyes would give me away. Even if I am trying to shake off a hurt feeling and saying something like Oh no, I am fine . . . just look at my eyes. Love of my life never misses anything with my eyes - happy sad etc.

Post by: trbills on October 12, 2011, 01:17:46 pm: i have brown and my husband is hazel. when my lil girl was born she had bright blue at about 4 months old they changed to a greenish grey color. and when she turned 2 they turned hunter green we was so excited that she was going to have green eyes then they turned to brown at about the age of 5.

I was touched about your comment about your grandfather. You obviously love him. I bet he would say you have the most beautiful brown eyes he has ever seen!

That is so nice I have brown eyes just about every one in my family has brown with 2 sister slightly lighter maybe hazel depending on what they where funny how that affects the color of yours eyes sometime :thumbsup:

I think the color brown in general is so ugly, although I have had many comments from guys liking my eyes when I was younger and single. Now I am married and I have to hope that my husband will come through in the "sexy bedroom eyes" comment....lol! :angel12:

Mostly green with what looks like a brown and yellow sunflower around the pupil.

When I wear green or yellow ... they are a shade of bright green.

When I wear brown or darker colors ... the brown comes out more.

LOL I got tickled at your comment. My blue wanted to be brown when I was growing up! LOL Seems like we always wish our eyes or hair or whatever was different and someone elses is prettier and more exciting. I bet your eyes are not boring at all. I bet they are big beautiful brown eyes that the right person could look into for hours. :-) Take another look . . . and smile when you look in the mirror. It will make a difference. Matter of fact, smile all day and have everyone wondering what you have been up to! They will go home saying wow people with brown eyes live a more exciting life! LOL It does work - people wonder why you are smiling. You start out faking it but when people react then you start chuckling inside and the smile becomes genuine. AND then you really get reactions. LOL

I went with a friend to an eye glass shop and they were determined to get me to try green contacts because at that time I still had red hair (honey those days are long gone lol) the tech got one in and I couldn't go the other and actually thought I might have to go home with one green eye and one brown eye but I did manage to let her take the one contact out. I informed my friend I would stick with glasses and the color of eyes God gave me ??? ;D

I use colored non-prescription Freshlook Colorblends Contacts, and they are always a different color....love it! And the best part is they don't look like contact lenses are in, just beautiful color.

Wow...there are tabby cats envious of all that color. I have dark brown and they look black to the naked eye.
