Title: Who is your favorite superhero!

Can Wolverine be considered a superhero?

By Green Lantern, do you mean Hal Jordan, or another one? Also, the Green Lantern rings have a weakness to the color yellow.

How heroic must the subject be, and what's the qualifier of "super"? Is it special powers or just an above average "special something"?
'Cause I mean, Batman technically is just supposed to be a normal (abet dedicated, rich and slightly mental) man, right? And I know there's a lot of iffy dark/grey anti-"heroes" (like Deadpool) - so do you have to have saved the world or something, rather than just be the focus of a comic (or show or game or whatever)?

Our household was pretty much Spiderman, being as he's my sister's absolute favorite ever. She also likes Nightcrawler and Toad, not sure why exactly though.

I tend to like super heroes based more on their villains. I like the idea of Lex Luthor more than Superman in general. For similar reasons I like Batman. And Joker for completely different reasons.

I've never really been into comics, so most of my knowledge is based on those popular enough to have cartoons and movies.
So like, I love Hulk when we're talking about the television show, but I'm wary of other incarnations (including comics, 'cause I haven't actually read the originals :P).

.. Now that I'm thinking about it, mine are probably the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Gargoyles ;D :P
