I woke up this morning to a fine layer of snow outside, here in N Royalton, OH! Didn't know it was supposed to snow!
Since this is the first snow of the season, I wanted to see who when everyone else has gotten their first snow of the season.

I am in Iowa and we got our first snow 2 days ago. I knew it was supposed to change over to snow from rain over night but didn't expect it to stick. We got several inches and my kids could barely contain themselves. They were searching for all the snow gear and wanted to be outside before 7 am! We walked to school, even though they ended up being tardy. We don't have much left, but fun while it lasted. Got me in the holiday mood.

I live in Colorado and we have had a couple of snows already, but none of them have stuck around long. I am waiting for the big one that will let my kids throw snow *bleep* outside for more than a day.

I live in South Central Ky and we had a few flurries earlier this week. They didn't amount to anything, not even a dusting. Just enough to get everyone talking and speculatating if this was a sign of a cold wet winter. I don't want to think about that yet. Going to enjoy the 68-72 temps we are expecting the next few days.

DC area received a small amount on October 29-enough to slow traffic down but nothing really measurable....

Tee hee was born and raised in Florida so haven't seen a lot of snow HOWEVER in the 70's it actually snowed in Daytona Beach FL enough to barely scrape up a snowball from under a palm tree, if you don't believe me google it and it should come up. Also my sister and I lived a few months in Boone NC and so saw plenty of snow (a million years ago ha) and my husband and I lived in Black Mountain NC about 28 years ago and we saw some snow. But alas I am a FL girl and I think snow is pretty but don't have a practical daily desire to live anywhere it gets that cold or where I would have to drive in snow. So enjoy you guys I'll stick it out here (although we have been getting down to 45 degrees even here the last couple of nights, cold enough for me lol)

I live in PA and we actually had snow about 2 weeks ago. My particular area only got about 2 inches but
north and west of me (only about 1/2 hour drive away) got about 7 inches.
Now the temps are back in the 60's .... crazy weather
