Been a fan of Sugarland from the time they first came out as a trio and have to say this latest album ‘The incredible Machine’ is totally not like anything they ever did before. The sound on all the songs is so not country but so not pop. It’s really weird and I like it. But then I liked their country stuff too. I am glad Jennifer Nettles gave Christian Bush a chance to take lead vocals on some songs so we hear more of him on this album than before. In fact each album leading to this one he’s been a little bit more vocal each turn. My favorite is still their first single ‘Stuck like glue.’ but I hope they release ‘Stand up.’ It has a good strong moral and Jennifer Nettle’s voice just pulls the number over.
