Title: If everything happenes fo a reason?

I'm sitting here wondering, if EVERYTHING happenes for a reason. why are so many children dying at the hands of thier parents...i'm seeing it on TV more and more :sad1:

I don't believe that "everything happens for a reason" line. It can be a very cruel and thoughtless thing to say to people.

so they don't have to suffer anymore.  I personally am more appreciative and kind when I see these kind of stories.  It makes me love my kids so much more...
