What wrapping paper colors, styles, bows, or bags do you like to use? I cant use bows or ribbon bc my cat eats them!
-
Definitely character wrap or bags for the youngsters. Im guilty of buying many gift cards this time of year, therefore reducing the purchases of wrap, etc.
-
I definitely bag a lot more than I did years in the past, especially when I get bags from others (so I can re-use). I typically only wrap with theme paper when the item is big or is an assortment of clothes, but I compliment this with a card and stick em bow (I'm poor at ribbons).
-
I like using solid color foils for my kids! Everyone else I usually use the typical Christmas colors and themes!
-
I make my own fabric bags and reuse them from year to year.
-
I don't wrap I just give it to them in a bag, it;s already boxed from the store.
-
I like to use a few different colors for my gifts, makes it nicer under the tree, I dont use bow or ribbon thats to mch work for me :)
-
I like shiny wrapping paper! Or Sparkly! ;D
-
Since I have young kids, I like to buy character paper that they like, a different one for each kid. They know which ones are theirs by the paper.
My son is going to a birthday party today and I made a pillow case for the bday boy and put the gift inside it as the wrap. A way to reuse and get two gifts instead of one!
-
I like those bags stuffed with tissue paper.....very convenient.
I used to help people wrap their presents. It was fun making the triangle edge folds on the sides.
-
I just like simple/plain wrapping paper...nothing extravagant!
-
I used to wrap a couple of hundred presents every year. It took a LOOOOOOOOng time. I finally started using bags and tissue paper. I snag the bags back from family memvers and use them over and over. I have also cut back the presents to around one hundred.
-
for birthdays and anniversary gifts i tend to buy whatever suits the person i'm giving to. christmas though, i love seeing a ton of different papers under the tree, so i buy a little of everything!
-
i dont use anything besides wrapping paper coz i think it is a waste of time and money coz it's just gonna go in the garbage.
-
I still like to wrap presents for kids, but it seems most people have started using bags instead. I like those too, and often re-use them.
-
I am so grateful someone invented gift bags!! I always hated wrapping gifts. I think that is because, many years ago when I stayed with my in-laws when my husband was in the military (HATED it!!), my mother-in-law had me wrap most of her stuff, too, because she said I was good at it.......
-
i'm gonna be honest... i love big, bold, bubbly patterns
and colors. the bigger the bow, the better! i will use
big thick ribbon that matches the paper and make my
own bows to save money. i put as much thought into
the wrapping as the gift itself... that's just me :)

I love getting gifts wrapped like this, but am too cheap to do it myself!

I completely understand. I was the designated wrapper in my family, and it got old fast. They ruined something i loved! but since that was years and years ago, it is not ruined any more :)

I am the same way with bags. I tend to get them , so I save them and resuse them. I also only buy wrapping paper after christmas and look for neutrals that can be used year round (like solids). Why pay a premium when they practically give it away once the season is over. ;D

I love seeing my grandchildren tair the wrapping paper out. I don' thank they look at the beautiful kinds of paper. Their more
interested in getting to the present. Which is all good to see their faces when it's open.
-
I like sparkly wrapping paper and try to reuse atleast some of them. Trying to be a little green :dontknow:
-
I cant use bows or ribbon bc my cat eats them!
You're not kidding! Our cat once ate a lot of ribbon, and had to have an operation to remove it. Scary...
-
I like to use paper that relates to the real reason for the holiday. Angels, nativity scenes, etc
-
I never wrap gifts, at least not with wrapping paper. It's wasteful! I prefer going with gift bags. It's easier, and there's no waste involved.

That is what scares me! Sorry that it happened to you. My cat is awful about eating weird things and I know one day he is going to be in trouble!

I used to do the wrapping paper thing, but not anymore. I usually take gift boxes, put my baked goods in, tape shut and a nice bow and have a present. Very easy to do.
-
We have this thing going - we use the same bag year after year - doing our bit for recycling! It has become a sort of game - one year I give it to you and the next year you give it back to me. It cuts down on having to buy paper and bows and ribbons
-
I bought a lot of pretty wrapping paper last year when it went on sale. I like to wrap my gifts but if I have pretty gift boxes I just put ribbon and name tag on it and it works quite well.

I am a wrapping paper person Cheapest works for me lmao it just gets tore up so why waste cash..as for bows my dogs would eat them lmao

i like wrapping using nice wrapping paper, but use gift bags at times
-
My family uses gift bags because they're reusable. In fact, we have been using the some of the same bags for over five years. It's a good way to save money and be environmentally friendly at the same time. :)
-
I like to use different colored and pattern wrapping paper. I use bags sometimes for really bulky and hard to wrap presents. I love to see all the different colors under the tree!
-
This year I wanted to do something crafty and creative (thank you Pintrest) but my husband didn't like any of the ideas. :'(
So instead, we got "traditional" wrapping paper. One small roll of an awesome, silver holographic paper and one larger roll of silver foil with white glitter snowflakes.
Wrapping paper is definitely something I like to go all-out on to make it look awesome.
-
Usually anything but foil. Hard for me to wrap well. Sometimes I use newspaper.
-
Whatever I can find.
-
i like to get a variety of colors of wrapping paper,,i normally dont use bows etc,,i also like shiny looking paper
-
i love wrapping paper..it comes in so many designs and colors that you cant go wrong.
-
I AM A LADY OF LOTS OF COLOR. I USE ALL KINDS OF STYLE AND COLOR WHEN IT COMES TO CHRISTMAS.
-
When I give gifts to more then one person at a time, I like to use different colors! Easier to tell the gifts apart. I like bows, ribbon's, tissue paper, and gift bags for the gifts I wrap!
-
Bags for smaller gifts. Wrapping paper for any bigger items with sometimes a bow. I'm not good enough for using ribbons.
-
I prefer wrapping presents, I just love to wrap them all perfect and I like all different Christmas decorated prints, nice and colorful under the christmas tree.
-
mostly Christmas colors and themes
-
Any simple wrapping paper, bows and ribbons that does the job is good enough for me will do. No need to go all shiny fancy with expensive paper wraps which will eventually be torn and ripped to the wastebasket.
-
I like a variety of colors and designs on wrapping paper and gift bags. All the different kinds look so pretty under the tree.
-
I like Charlie Brown.
-
for christmas is always green silver and red.for valentines with hearts-depending on what kind of gift and for who
-
charlie brown or peanuts is my favorite
-
I like to have a few fancier looking types and some regular ones. I like designs with cute Christmas patterns and maybe some shimmer for the fancy ones. I don't usually use any bows or ribbon.
-
I like sturdy, metallic papers best. I prefer using curly ribbon over mass produced bows. I too have cats so when I have presents to unwrap I'll wait until Christmas day to put them by the tree, for a pretty photo, before unwrapping them. :cat:

As long as you're careful, you should be fine. Our cat ate yarn, too. Such a rascal!
-
We always open gifts at my mom's house. Her cat was under the tree trying to rip them open with us.Merry Christmas to all.
-
We use a hidden stash of less expensive wrapping paper that "Santa" uses for the kid's presents. A slightly nicer paper is used for Birthdays. While the best is used for anniversarys and accomplishments. The kids always say that the paper used by Santa is the best and that we couldn't possibly be Santa because his wrapping is so perfect! I love doing the wrapping more than I like purchasing the present. We used cheaper tape this year which caused a little bit of extra work...won't do that again next year!
-
I usually buy by wrapping paper after Christmas always on sale just before New years ..... I buy Christmas and and solid paper is always good for any occasion. I really don't like bags, but if I have no choice I'll use them. I think a wrapped box is more exciting to open then just pull out tissue paper and see what's in the bag.
-
i like using bags that i receive from other gifts in previous years if possible
