I am surprised that he ever got into the race! With his past it took real cojones to consider a political position. With everything surfacing at this point he had to have realized that his past would catch up to him. I was somewhat amused that his attorneys said that Mr. Cain's private life had no business being exposed by the media. Are they serious? Um...Mr. Bundy's previous history as a serial killer has no business being in the limelight as he runs for the most important position in our country (tic). Up until the announcement there were still people saying that they would financially back him all the way. Down to two, I guess, or will there be a final attempt to put someone in the race that stands a chance?

Sometimes I wonder if these policitians think that the ordinary Joe Soap has no brains at all. Surely they cannot think that we believe all the twaddle they speak at press conferences! How he got this far is the million dollar question.

I guess I am on a different planet then everyone else. I'm not surprise he dropped out because he lost all of his support over the accusations, but he is defenitely the one I was planning on voting for if he had stuck around.

They are all the same! Even if one of these clowns ever actually followed through with their promises, it would not matter unless congress, senate, supreme court, etc all agree with him/her. Bottom line, this country is screwed!! :angry7:
Fear not though if you did support Cain and like him, he will be back to run with Newt as vice president... bank on it!! ::)

dreamyxogood call! :thumbsup: Many seem to have amnesia on What G. Bush did & left behind. First G.B. destroyed the surplus that the US had after Bill Clintin left office. Bill C. actually left the US out of the Red & in the Black economy wise. G.B. comes in & slaughter that Surplus w/that useless war that Obama has just finished like he promised.Obama is still cleaning up the *bleep* that GB left behind. The Rep & anti- Obama groups is dumping on his performance b/c they can't find any dirty scandal that other former Presidents got caught in. They are doing everything possible to make him fail!I refuse to vote for any party that's goes against their opponent to make them fail in office at the cost of the people. I want a president that will try to be for me not to get the guy in the white house fired because it would boost their ego to have the first black president serve only one term. Cain was just in it to raise his speaking fees and sell books. I don't think he ever seriously believed that he'd rise as high as he did.

What kords said. He'll now be able to make a pretty penny from books, speaking engagements, etc. Heck, he might even be hired to provide commentary on some "news" channel.

I really like Herman Cain and I agree with him on most things but he was not up to snuff on foreign affairs in the debates. He was great on the economy.

What I would like to know since everyone seems to believe everything they hear on TV - What I call not reality TV, who whould be stupid enough to Run for President knowing they had this in their past. Whatever you think about this man, one thing he is not stupid. He has made Millions over the years in Business and Radio Host out of Atlanta. If you take a look at the two woman's past, they both have multiple Sexual Harashment charges at Multiple Companies, one was employed 8 times in the past 12 years and has sued their employer's 4 different occasions. Doesn't this sound a little wierd to you??? To tell you the truth, I am not surprised he bowed out. He is smart enough to know, once an accusation is made about a presidential candidate - you are done, weather it is true or not!!I've worked in DC - I know the politics that runs that City/Govt/Private Sector, and the funny thing about it, You don't have to be a Politician to run the Political Game!!!
