Tough to say as I have had a lot of dogs of differing breeds that I liked.  I think it isn't so much the breed to me as the personality of the animal.  I do want a Carolina Dog though.

I've always wanted a dalmatian and a burmese mountain dog, but I love most breeds of dogs.  The only real exceptions are chihuahuas or terrier types similar to them.  My current dog is a dalmatian/beagle mix, so I got half a dalmatian.   ;D

I had a lab/pit mix that totally broke my heart when she died last August...she was really special.    I also have a yellow lab (who is special too) that is great, she's always been such a good dog.

Dogo Argentino and Rottweiler. Both are great family dogs and good protectors. Dogo is a type of semo-pitbull (best description of one) that is used to take down large game. They were bred from the most ferocious dog in modern history (I think), the Cordoba Fighting Dog. But the aggressiveness has been bred out and they are great family dogs. They still retain that fighting element and will protect your family. Same with Rottweiler, good all around and can protect.

I don't have a favorite, because I just love dogs! I love going to the dog park and seeing all the different ones. Each breed has such wonderful and unique characteristics.

As far as owning, I prefer to own German Shepherds. I like having two because I think it's good for them socially. I love their intelligence, loyalty and good behavior. Out of all the dogs I've had over my life, our Shepherds have been the fastest to train and the best behaved.

I wasn't familiar with the breed "Dogo Argentino" and so I looked it up.  Nice looking dogs and although I have seen some that looked like them I am not familiar enough to be able to know if it was the breed or not.

I love all dogs, but favor the larger breeds. I have a labmix and an all white boxer. They are both my very good companions! I don't understand how anyone can hurt these poor animals :'(

My daughter has a part maltese and shitshu and she is a honey.  I really like most dogs, but had an incident with a bulldog once, so that kind of turned me off of them.

I love all dogs, but my favorite is the heinz 57 variety(a.k.a mutts) they are the sweetest, most even tempered of all dogs that i know of. I happen to have three of them, all rescue dogs.  One is aterrier mix, the other one is a sheperd mix and the third is a chichuahua  poodle mix. And they all are the sweetest dogs you could ever know.  Love them all...

I miss having a dog.  Right now I only have cats, but have had both together for years.  My pets have all been mixed breed rescues.  Appearance wise I'm attracted to black, black and white or tri-color.  I'd like to own a mantle great dane, a Swissy and a black and white pappilon.  I'd first get a black manx cat (or two) and let them raise the pups.   :cat: :dog:

We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Our second. The first we got as a rescue. We didn't know anything about the breed before then and have found these to be amazing dogs. Wonderful with people and children. Great watch dogs, very smart and loyal. They are not runners as their favorite place to be is right with you.  Swimming and retrieving is their element. The only thing that they will love more is being with you!

I miss my little dogs. We had four terrier mutts for years. They all got old and died. I've been thinking about getting another one, or two,  but It will be another responsibility and I just don't know. I like them all, too. Most of the ones I ever had were mutts.

I'm not particular to any certain breed.
I would say I'm actually more of a cat person - but I fell head over heels for my current dog, an American Cocker Spaniel, as soon as I laid eyes on his picture. Not sure that I particularly want more of the breed (I've only ever seen them from afar, not even petted another one), but I biasedly love his personality and *very* soft fur.

Before him, we've mainly owned mixes, of small and medium size, but I do remember some Rotts and a greyhound when I was a kid.
Oh for a short time we had Pekingese, and I would consider getting more of them. I do quite like them, not sure why though. Just the overall package and the history, I guess.

My twin loves Chinese Crested dogs, and has owned three plus mixes in the past.
Dachshunds are great, but they always seem to latch on to other members of the family more, even when I obtained them for myself! So wieners (dogs) don't seem to care for me much :P (Just have to stick with my *bleep*-er spaniel I suppose.)
My brother has mentioned an interest in Corgis, but I don't think he's ever actually seen one in real life - he just likes the look of them.
My mother has always been interested in the very smallest and the very largest of dogs (the big ones for the appearance of "needing to watch out for", and the little ones because they actually would attack someone lol) - she'd love a Great Dane or a "King's Dog", which is some mix of a Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound, Saint Bernard or something lol. Something massive, anyways. She also likes the looks of Scottish Terriers and Yorkies. And the look of terrier mixes in general, sometimes with Chihuahua thrown in for the eyes and rounded head.
My older sister has a Newfoundland, and he's nice, although a tad drooly (not as much as they can be, though). The drooly bits of most large breed dogs is what sorta turns me off lol As well as the fact I don't like being jumped on.

My brother just picked up a Basset Hound! To go with their Bloodhound, I guess :p He's very cute.

My favorite breed is the Miniture Schnauzer.  They are the best.  Easy to house break, they don't bark much, loveable, and very loyal.  I have had 3 of them.  My last one lived to be 15-1/2 yrs old and I just had to put him down in Jan of this year.  They are fantastic dogs.

If size were not an issue I would go with a Black Lab.  A black lab can grow to the size of a small moose--but I've never met a more affectionate kind of dog in my life.  I'm also partial to bassetts, because I love how they can look so sad at one end and wag so happy at the other end.

I am a serious pitbull owner and supporter. If you love a very loyal and ready to please dog, you should read up on the breed and what is needed as an owner before you accept the responsibility of owning a Pitty. They can be a handful but will also give you a great lifetime of pleasure and love...

Toy poodle. We had one many years ago. She was the runt so stayed very small. We had her for 13 years and it broke all our hearts when she got sick and passed on.

It is very hard to choose what type of dog is my favorite. If I were to choose, I would probably choose a husky. I really like how they're white and grey. They look like friendly wolves to me for some reason. I like how they are used for sleds as well. I would love to try that some day. ;D

My favorite is the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I have had two - my first was a huge Light Dead Grass male weighing in at 125 lbs ideal weight.  He was huge and a big sweetie.  I rescued him at 5 years of age and he passed away at age 11years old.  My second Chesapeake is dark dead grass. He's a bit smaller and weighs about 90 lbs.  He's currently 6 years old.  I'm attaching a picture for anyone who doesn't know what the Chesapeake Bay Retrieves looks like.
