I wish I could save it. This year the refund is going to pay bills and get caught up. Between house insurance, car insurance and propane - any refund is already gone.

I have never known anyone to save the tax return....people usually have plans for the money ahead of time.
im sure there are plenty of people who can save, I wish I could.

i've filed and got mine back already!
i split mine down the middle and half went into my savings
account (which is at a completely different bank so it's
harder for me to touch it) and the rest, i'm spending...

WISELY, that is

If there was a refund to save, I would.

Spending, technically-- but it's to pay off bills. I'm not exactly going on a pleasure cruise with it!  :crybaby2: But paying bills means having more money for the future, right?

Saving. I'm also saving for a new car. My other savings will go to pay off my student loans.

I took advantage of the tax break and started an IRA with most of my refund, and will pay off some bills with the rest of it.

I have always put mine into my savings account initially though it goes to pay for most of my gifts.  I have 2 birthdays in February, 3 in March, and another in April that I try to get presents for so I think my refund more replenishes what I already took out.

Most people are trying to paid some bill and try to get ahead for a minute.  I still owe so I will not get a refund.

I will be spending it, not on lavish things.  More on bills.  I am trying to pay off some debt that, because of the tough times, has come about.  Things seem to be getting a little better financially for our family.  So I am working on paying down the debt.

If we get some money back, we will definately save some (trying to build a savings), pay some bills, and probably treat ourselves to a nice dinner.

Bills! Anything we get back is going on bills. Not having a job for a year and a husband that just retired due to an injury, the charge cards are growing. Sucks!

Well since we dont have any kids, we don't hardly get any kind of taxes back, but we certainly pay alot!!  What a rip...We know several couples that have 2-3 kids and they all are getting $10,000-$11,000 back, and they didn't hardly pay anything, how can that be right?  We are a middle class couple and get hit hard by taxes.  Thanks obama!!!

When you don't have any kids, it hurts a lot. then there are all the ones that don't pay anything in and expect to get more and more. I really believe thoseon welfare should have to pay tax on the monies they get. All of us on ss have to pay taxes and also buy our insurance through medicare. We worked all of our lives to earn it. Of course if the goverment had kept their fingers out of it we would be alright. If i get any taxes back it will go to help pay on my house. Nope no bailout for us.

Prices are very high everywhere you go because the prices are inflated. Everyone is looking for a quick profit. I am spending...investing and reinvesting!
