I admit I have several.  Choosing just one is difficult, so the first band that came to mind is The Police!!! I love how Sting can sing a song and just bring you right into it as if he is singing the song directly to "you".  I enjoy several different bands actually and no one band has the same sound as the other.  For example, I like Pink Floyd or even, U-2.  On the other hand, I enjoy the soothing sounds of Tijuana Brass or Brazil 66 to the Gypsy Kings to even Queen!  With a background in dance (tap, ballet and jazz), I found myself enjoying so many sounding bands as so many of their sounds are absolutely amazing.

right now i don't have a current favorite band. but in the past i have had favorite boy bands... Nsync, lol

I've gone from bands to individuals...  like jack johnson, mishka, jason mraz, and so on.

I love the band The Script.  Music that I don't have to worry about my kids listening to!!!

For me, there's a lot of bands I really like. Two that I always think of immediately though are Amorphis and Godsmack. I don't think either band has made a song I haven't liked. Alter Bridge is another that so far, I've quite enjoyed. I think their last album, ABIII, is my overall favorite.

Most of mine are from the 80's! Van Halen has a new album, it sounds pretty good.

My favorite band is probably one that none of you have heard of but we grew up with here in Missouri.  Lots of good memories connected to The Krazy Kats.  Originally from Moberly, Missouri.  They've been entertaining us since the 50's.  Here's hoping Lee has another remission with his leukemia and they are able to get back to rocking after all these years  :angel12: :heart: :heart:

Jethro Tull is my favorite band, hands down. They have been around since the 70's and they are still touring. I get to see them again this year in California! WOOHOO! Their music keeps changing with the times and what is going on in their lives and it always seems better than before. I love Ian Anderson's solo stuff too. That man just amazes me!  What he can do on a flute, not to mention all the other instruments he plays, is simply awesome!  He's like the battery bunny that keeps going and going with all the projects he's got going on. Thank you Jethro Tull for all the happy memories!

I gotta admit, it's hard to discard the original works of Jethro Tull.  I listened to him straight...  and not so straight, and they always sounded great.

Mine is Air Supply is one of the greatest duets I ever heard I still love their song and have almost all their albums.
