Title: Discussion Board Topic
Post by: ULuvCeCe on March 02, 2012, 09:09:30 am
What if we changed the Suggestions section into "Suggestions Regarding FusionCash"? That way people will know that this isn't a section for personal suggestions and it will also save from reading the constant complaints that people do not post things in the right topic.

Well underneath it does say- Add a suggestion to improve OUR site. I think either people just don't notice or they just don't care. But that's why they do have the Off Topic section. So if people want to comment about stuff other than Fusion Cash, then it would seem logical to do it in that section. But I think that is a good suggestion, so then they will notice.

I started the topic one month ago about why are people posting random things everywhere and not caring about posting them in the right section. I'm not very fond of things getting messy in this forum and when it's messy people get lost...

I like this idea, but I'm not sure how helpful it is though. People will still see that title and post anything they think may benefit fusioncash... but not bad of a suggestion.

Yeah that is true too. But regardless, people are going to get off topic. If I'm reading a conversation and feel lost, I just read through what people have posted previously. And you can always go back to the first page of the topic and quote what the person originally posted and get back on the right topic if you want.... see even I'm a little off topic from the original post  ;D And then someone else will respond to what I just wrote and it will have nothing to do with ULuvCeCe's idea about changing the Suggestions section into "Suggestions Regarding FusionCash"

lol I am talking more about when people post something like Subject: Pizza then write: I'm going out this weekend for pizza what's your suggestion on the place I should try.

That drives me nuts! I think stuff like that should go to Off-Topic but maybe that is just me. I don't mind when threads themselves turn into a variety of suggestions after someone posted a suggestion to Fusion Cash because at least the initial thread was in the right category.

Lol! I see your point. Honestly though when I first started I didn't pay attention to what section I was posting in until I got more familiar with things. :) I think some people may not know or realize and then again some don't care.
