Title: Do you have a tattoo and what is it?

How many tattoos do you have? What are they and why?

I have 3: a lily on my hip (favorite flower), an unknown flower on the top of my foot (because it was cool), and a dragon fly on my ankle that I designed with my kid's initials in the wings.

I don't have any tattoos, but a friend of mine is thinking about getting a tattoo on her shoulder that is like the street sign threads "soft shoulders." I think that would be cute :)

I have 2. One is on my upper right shoulder and it is a tribal band of the American Flag. The other is on my left anlke and it is shield with my family initial. I plan on getting more though. I don't care what anyone says, tattoos are addictive.

I have 4:

1.  A written character (actually recognized in Chinese, Korean and Japanese cultures) on my neck symbolizing "eternity" (for personal reasons).

2.  A tattoo encompassing my kids initials and dates of birth on my upper arm (I hope the reason is obvious!)

3.  An Angel holding a sword (St Michael if you will) on my forearm (personal reasons).

4.  A dragon breathing fire on my upper chest area, which represents my bad breath.  OK, just kidding.  It symbolizes my year of birth (1964), which happens to be the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac (kinda like this year!).

I only have one. I have a fairy on my ankle. I have had it for a very long time. I have thought about getting another. My oldest daughter has several since both her boyfriend and he bestfriend are tattoo artists.

2 so far but plan on more when i can afford it. 1. tiger and dragon on yin yang (lower back)
2. heart with bat wings and oldest daughter's name (left shoulder)

I have one, a shooting star on the inside of my left wrist. I've thought about getting another one but I don't know of what.

I have 4 tattoo's. All have meaning, I have a star on my hand, which was a cover-up to hide "Party Dots" which I put there being young and stupid, I have a Peace Sign on my left wrist, I got this because I feel everyone should be at peace with their lives at all times, I have 3 flowers with a butterfly next to them with some tribal this is located on the left side of my neck under my ear, I decided on this one because the color of the flowers represent 3 special people in my life and the butterfly is in Memmorie of my Aunt who passed away about 6 years ago due to a doctors mistake. I also have a konji symbol on the back of my neck that means Desire, I got this because we all have things we desire in our life's =)

AT the moment I only have one but I would like to get a second one soon.  The one I have is a tribal band on my left arm.  I really like it and would like to add to that design with the second one.

why does ANYONE want to tattoo their bodies up anyways, no I dont have one and NEVER will, I see older people now and they look so silly...just my thought on the subject..so many now are trying to have them removed.

I LOVE the idea of tattoos. I think they're beautiful and artistic, BUT I will never get one. It's the needles! The needle would touch my skin for about 10 seconds before I got sick and fainted!
