Which is more important or valuable...Book Smarts or Street Smarts? Why do you believe this?

I think that being well-versed in both aspects helps you move ahead and adaptability is alot easier to achieve. My life started in the suburbs where I was tops in my class and testing off the charts on IQ tests but got creamed in High School which was a racially charged gangland and my street smarts developed. My parents split and I was pretty much left on my own to fend for myself and younger sister. After after two years in nasty town I was moved back out to the suburbs and had to re-addapt. Stability came when I went to college.

Street smarts because it helps you on a maturity level. Book smarts you can have and still be a moron.

A blend of the two. Book smarts help you survive in the work place and help you relate to the world. Street smarts help you day to day to survive in your interactions with others who can sometimes be deceitful and evil. I is best to have a healthy blend of both to have a good life. You need Both! :thumbsup:

Street smarts only gets you so far in this world....after that....you better read a book....
