Title: is winter over?

we had a surprise snow storm on sat morning which has melted away! hurray!
Even though it's not even st pattys day yet I say winter is over! (I hope) It's almost 6o out right now! :wave: :peace:

Ya, I hope it almost is! We had that is was supposed to snow for 3 days here. It didn't snow at all and now it is supposed to be 71 degrees at noon. I don't know what has been going on with the weather. It has been crazy! ::) ???

Here in Missouri, we're used to winter not being over until April.  We had beautiful weather on the 1st of March and snow on the 2nd so I'm not even sure if March came in like a lamb or a lion  :)  Based on our forecast, it seems like spring is here but who knows?

I dunno bout winter being over but if it is I think Chicago-land is going to have a hot and humid summer.  We have 70 degree temperatures.  I'm certainly not complaining.  My husband runs a landscaping business so If it stays this way he ought to have himself a good year.  In the mean time I'll continue saying, "huh"?  as far as both the weatherman and the farmers almanac goes.

We left florida yesterday morning and it ws 68º.  We came home and it was in the 60s here.  60s predicted for the rest of the week, so hope winter is over.

Not yet.  We have about a week left of winter and a storm is coming tomorrow and staying for the week.

I think winter is over here in middle Tennessee.  We have had a mild winter.  We had butter cups blooming here in January.  Very unusal.  We have a lot of storms and tornados around us but non here where I live.  Just hope and pray will not have any more.  So much damage was done alot of places.  I feel so sorry for the one that lost love ones and lost the belonging.  May God be with them as time goes by.
