anyone here see it yet? I have not, but heard from some it's pretty dang good!
-
I have not seen it. I probably won't... have two young kids that don't let me OUT!
-
I haven't, it looks good though! I haven't read the books either haha I should read them before seeing the movie.
-
I have not seen it or read the books. People at work are talking about it. I think I will read the book first and watch the movie when it comes out on DVD
-
I have been hearing alot about this, I haven't seen it, but I am sure it is something stupid.
-
I have not seen it yet. Am not in to much tv unless its sports hehe Althought i did get my old lady the book she loved it. Now I am going to take her to see it in theatre in couple days. Am sure i will like it if i can stay awake that is.

I have not read the books, and don't plan on reading them. One of my daughters just saw the movie (after reading the books). She was pleased with the way the movie followed the book and thought it was good.

I have actually read all 3 books, and in record timing. They were very impressive. Certainly a good option for a young reader. They have done a fabulous job at getting kids to read. Granted the material or issues matter could bother some, however if you look at past choices---How to Kill A Mockingbirg or The Flies....these are also full of issues that could cause one to pause.
I can't wait to see the movie. My sister and I are taking my father with us...we've all read the books. Going to a week day showing, hoping it won't be as full or filled with the youngins. ::)

I saw it last night and highly recommend it. However, I would say read the book first. To me, the books are always better since movies can't portray the inner turmoils and feelings as well. The books are awesome, and the movie is as good as movie remakes of book can be! ;D

I haven't read the books, so probably not.....
-
I know what it's about, but not terribly interested in it. With all the ruckus being made about it though, I might pick up the books in the future and will likely rent the movie.
-
I just went and saw it today, and the best way I can put it is that it was a good movie but nothing I would care to see again, so a one time watch is my opinion.
-
I haven't read the books and honestly never heard of it until i saw the movie preview...the preview looks good so might have to go see the movie and if its good read the books.
-
Haven't seen it. My sister saw the movie today and said it was really good. It sounds like a decent movie.
-
I havent seen the movie but I read the book and I thought it was pretty good but I dont know that Ill see the movie cuz atleast for me the books are always better and I hate seeing the movies cuz I cant help pointing out inconsistancies
-
I had never even heard of this til I seen the previews. I probably won't see it in the theater but will rent it. I am definitely a movie then book person which is backwards but for me if I leave a movie absolutely loving it and wanting more then going to the book satisfies that craving. Which is something I wish a lot of people would do cause after time people just complain about how the book is better, they wasted their money on the movie etc. I will have to say though my movie then book craving theory is not always the case, some books are just flat out boring ie. Eat, Pray, Love.

I haven't seen it yet, but a friend said it was a good movie

I was looking at Amazon Kindle books last night and was able to read the first 4 chapters as a preview. What I read was very good and I will probably get the books at some point.
-

I didn't even know what the books were about until yesterday. I'd heard of the movie being released but didn't know what they were about.
Sounds like interesting stuff. I will read/see the movie for sure.
