What was your favorite movie in your child hood?
Mines was the Lion King.

I really liked The Beatles "Yellow Submarine." I would have to say it is still my favorite animated movie.

My favorite childhood movie is "Peter Pan". I thought it was so cool that they could fly and fight pirates. :)

I enjoyed the original Freaky Friday, not because of the movie. My father and I were in town for something and we just wound up watching the matinee in the theater. This was an extra special treat because it was inside instead of at the Drive-in.
lol, now it is a treat to go to a movie at the drive-in. My how times have changed.

I loved all the disney movies and still do! Lion king, beauty and the beast, little mermaid.

The Wizard of Oz the original one with Judy Garland I can still hear the munchkins singing follow the yellow brick road Can you hear it too????? :thumbsup:

Mine would have to be the classic Never Ending Story i love those movies!!!! :)

Also, I heard that they're making a Home Alone 5 and it will premiere on ABC Family or some channel like that. I think that instead of casting a random new kid, they should have Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, and Daniel Stern return and it could be Macaulay as an adult and the burglars are still after him. That is a movie I would pay to see!

I loved musicals when I was a child, so my favorites were probably Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and West Side Story. I also emulated Macaulay Culkin screaming scene when he starred in Home Alone and I was a big Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle fan.

;D I am kind of old lol so mine was "Parent Trap" I enjoyed it very much - my mother took us to the theatre to see it and it is one of my favorite childhood memories as well as movies especially in light of my mom passing away recently.

I would have to say the lion king is my all time favorite childhood movie. I still enjoy watching it too :)

We didn't get to go to many movies since there were 7 of us kids.
I saw BAMBI in the theater and ATARI at an outdoor theater.

The first Pokemon movie, definitely. I liked the next couple of movies (new ones are rubbish) but that was my favorite. I feel sorry for the kids now, with their terrible cartoons.

Mine favorite will be Beauty and the Beast. Later on I like Finding Nemo. That a very funny movie.

One of my favorite childhood movies, would have to be Space Jam, starring Michael Jordan and the Looney Toons.

I had a lot of favorite childhood movie but my favorite was the six million dollar man.

This made me think of something-years ago I saw a scary movie- I believe it was "The Shadow Of The Cat" I saw it in the early seventies-but it was old then- in black and white- does anybody else remember it-or know where I can find a copy.

My favorite is the man of steel, Superman. I also loved the movie Star Wars.

I loved any movie with Donald Duck in it along with Daisy, his girlfriend, and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie! Uncle Scrooge had to be there, also, to make it complete. They were my favorites. I also couldn't wait for the new Donald Duck comic book each month!

My favorit movie as a child is grease and grease 2 I still watch them today when ever they come on dish. When I was a child they came on once a year and I would watch it every time and the strange thing is my parents would let me even though they have seen it over and over. We only had one tv in our home so it was a mazing they let me watch it.

I loved the Black Stallion. I abused that vhs tape watching it over and over :)

So many wonderful movies when I was growing up. A few that come to mind are: The Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, Alice in Wonderland, & Labyrinth. All really great films, classics. :thumbsup:

Anything from Studio Ghibli. (I'm from Japan :wave:)
Especially "My neigbor Totoro", "Castle in the sky" and "Kiki's delivery service" were my favorite when I was a kid and I still love them.
