If you have a problem with your computer, where do you take it to get fixed. I usually take mine to Best BUy

I have been lucky and not encountered any problems to where I needed to get outside help, I can usually figure it out. But if I can't then I have friends that can always help.

I self diagnose my own and sometimes other people's upon request. If I cannot figure something out right away I rely on feedback online and hope for the best. By the time the computer is really bad I usually feel it's time for replacement.

I need to take mine in just to clean it up. Is Best Buy good for that too?

In my area Staples is pretty good. I think most of their diagnosis stuff is free.

I've learned to do my own computer repair throughout my time on a PC. The one thing I've noticed with FC is, when I've opened a span of multiple windows and close out the windows, I have to restart my computer after closing my browser. When I try to open the browser again, it opens a prompt and says the browser is already open, thus requiring a restart. No big deal.  :)

I repair myself as i am a certified tech i just deal with the problem and move but i have noticed recently that apple has in its own unique way made the mac line of products more user friendly and less worrisome then the competition

My kid spilled some orange juice on my laptop, and I tried wiping it down and also used the hair drier, but still worried  :confused1:
