Title: What is a movie that has recently come out you want to see?
Post by: rosiemary02 on April 17, 2012, 07:25:01 am: I don't get to watch tv to often and me the hubs have a date night coming up. I want to go to the movies but don't really know whats coming out soon. Any suggestions? I am not really a chick flick kind of girl. I like sci fi and zombie movies. I love horror movies, I love playing video games? Any movies would interest me?

These were the 2 movies I was going to suggest as well. There's a lot of talk about the Hunger Games going on right now. I haven't heard too much about the Cabin in the Woods but it looks interesting.

I loved the original, but what could be sooooo grand and different, other than feeling like everything is causing a personal bubble invasion? Has anyone here seen it? Is it all the media hype and my kid make it out to be?

Post by: tantricia44 on April 20, 2012, 11:52:12 pm: I was turn off to the Hunger games b/c it had just too much hype. But my sis told me I was probably turned off b/c i didn't read the epic books. She did & rates it A+ good.

I want to see, the 3 stooges, The american reunion,mirror, mirror, Cabin in the woods sound like a good thriller, & there's one that's not out yet but it's about a team of superheros banding together, I think it's the justic league. Iron man, hulk, thor, ant-man,wasp,captain america.... If directors & producers can get it together, it'd be totally fantastic! 8) ;D :wave:

I think I can relate to the subject since I have a grown son who is 26 and has never left home. Maybe this can help me see what is going on his head.

The Hunger Games recently came out and I saw it last night! It was super good but in some parts it was very sad and made me want to cry but I didn't. I love The Hunger Games because it was a beautiful movie and was super good. It was one of the best movies I had ever seen in my life. I also like Twilight. I really really want to see the 2nd half of Breaking Dawn. I like Twilight because I love vampires and Bella and Edward are a good vampire couple. Jacob is a good actress too.

I saw cabin in the woods last week--it is Awesome :thumbsup: Joss Whedon is the man :notworthy: I have always enjoyed his shows and movies, and I'm still mad that Firefly was cancelled :crybaby2:

As I mentioned before, CAbin in the Woods is awesome--but I have also seen 21 Jump street, and it is awesome as well. highly recommend both movies :thumbsup:

It's not that new anymore but I wanted to watch "The secret world of Arrietty" (I'm a Japanese and I grew up with Studio Ghibli's movies) but it was not on at movie theaters near me :(

Post by: MessiahMews on May 01, 2012, 12:20:18 pm: The Avengers is coming out in two or three days, so my spouse and I have a movie date coming up soon. We'll go out to eat first (Olive Garden) and then drive an hour and half to go see it in 3D.

The new Amazing Spider-man- I honestly don't think this one will top the previous series,but I'll give it a shot.

Also looking forward to G.I. Joe Retaliation starring The Rock and Bruce Willis!
